Fantastic corporate event. Initially, there were lots of apprehension on the sun and the water. But after the event, everyone were glad they participated! The trainers and coaches were really experienced and patient in guiding us, there were 80 of us participating so we had a friendly competition of 4 boats and we took up the 2-hour session.
Shout out to Faisal and Jessica for being the trainers on our dragon boat. They were really experienced and gave us essential tips to have the additional edge. And thankfully, we won, and that was for all challenges! Really grateful, and kudos to wonderful instructors!

First time rowing with DBI and I must say that it was awesomeeeee! Our trainer was Kaysen (cheers!!). He was very engaging throughout the entire time and gave very simple and clear instructions that made it easy for us first-timers to follow. We had a really great afternoon with our trainers NX and Jesica today. I was on the boat with NX and she did a fab job inrroducing the diff techniques throughout our rowing session. Special thanks to Coach Kevin for the guidance, motivation and professionalism. It was my first experience and I’ve always fear the open water. But today it was an eye opener for me. I’m a new fan of dragon boat now! Will do it again in a heartbeat.

Dion was by far the best captain we could have asked for. He took 9 individuals and turned us into one team in less than 2 hours. We even raced 4 other boats with more people and held our own. Hats off to Dion!!!
