A lot of food options. Mushidona, satay club, hey sushi, sakon thai, flying work, andes and many more. There is also daiso, mr diy, don don ki, redman and fairprice. Third floor there is a Tayo theme park playground. First floor there is a wall climbing area. There is a play area at the lobby near the taxi stand. From there you can go to Wild wild wet or d’resort.

Have not been here for quite sometime due to the pandemic but my eldest daughter decided to bring us here for lunch in view that she was meeting her friends too on that day.
There have been quite a few new shops here since I last came here but nevertheless this would be a good place if you’d want to have some window-shoppings, lunch, dinner or family time outings.
You’ll find eateries, ice-cream counters, gift shops, clothing stores and also rides and entertainments for the family.
This has been and will always be a good place if you want to have great weekends with the family too. You’ll need to come and see for yourself to find some surprises that you may not find conveniently located within a ‘hub’…

Downtown East is a mall with plenty of unique and fun places to go, tasty food, fun places to go and even a waterpark. I’ve been here multiple times and had fun almost all the times, place is regularly maintained and lots of stuff to do. Overall, Downtown East is a place to do all the stuff you want to.

The shopping mall is separated into two parts, the first part has the department stores and shops, while the other half has the restaurants. There are many big department stores here like Daiso, Mr DIY and Don Don Donki. Also places for kids like Tayo station and Upwall. I wasn’t impressed initially at the choice of food, until I realised there was a bridge connecting to another part, which had way more food choices along with the Don Don Donki. Overall the mall is bigger than I would have expected and am coming back again soon.

Had everything you will need to stay here for a week! There’s plenty of eating options so you’ll be split for choice. There’s also a fantastic kids play area called Tayo Station with a traffic area for kids to burn energy and just be kids.

There’s also supermarket, cinema, a skating ring, hair dressers and more!

I’ll definitely recommend staying here for a few days but lower your expectations and you’ll have a great time.

Takagi Ramen is great for relatively cheap food(compared to the rest at least).
If you intend to go to a water park, I recommend Wild Wild Wet(and don’t go Malaysian one lah, it’s big, but maybe not worth 5-7hour on Causeway). Wild Wild Wet got a wave pool and you can rent some floats to chill on(maybe even sleep on), and the slides are really fun(Thrill-seekers can choose to go for the vertical drop slide, the tall yellow one)

Here’s a feedback if you’re visiting on weekend evenings; Extremely crowded!! If you are looking to dine in restaurants, advisable to book in advance. For fast food options, hard to seat larger families / grp of 5 and above. Advisable to takeaway. If the food / beverage options are on Grabfood or Foodpanda, best to do self pickup option to reduce your wait time.

Went to watch movie with my son. Not many shops and food choices.

Not too crowded maybe it was a weekday.

Love love love love this place right now with its current mix of retailers. There’s always a good variety of food although I hope that they will eventually revive the food court after it ceased operations shortly after circuit breaker. Sad thing was that the previous NTUC food court doesn’t seemed to have any food stalls that’s enticing enough to attract customers who had probably been lured away by the small eateries at E-hub. And the ambience within the previous food court was drab due to the dim lighting. The Sun Paradise retailer next to wild wild wet carries a huge range of good quality swimming costumes and accessories. Definitely worth browsing thru and buying if u require anything for water sports!! I personally owned quite a number of Arena & Sunseeker swimming suits fr this retail outlet. There’s McDonald’s too & BHG Welcia! And more restaurants & souvenir shops, apparels shops on the second floor too. Highly recommended to visit regularly for food and toiletries as it’s a nice place with a relaxed pace since it’s positioned as a resort style of shopping mall!

Great way to spend the weekends with friends. Many great activities such as lazing in the lazy river, waiting for the huge bucket of water to splash us, and even the amazing rides.

However, waiting time for most rides were quite long, especially at the last 3 hours of the day. Lazy river was packed, too many people during the weekends. Most interactive play tools at the play area are not usable – badly maintained.

Overall, fun to go with large groups of people. Great memories there, very nostalgic.

It has a water themed place with thrilling rides on inflatable assisted floats. One can feel secured with the ever watchful staff on duty. One has to be wary of one’s fitness for it. Advisory notices are placed at strategic locations before the thrilling rides. There is no olympic sized pool. Children will love it. There is a swim wear outlet and able to pick up any forgotten needy swim items. I use sun protect and swim cap to avoid prolong wetting on the hair with cholrinated water. Shopping center is next to it offering a range of merchandise. One can go to this place from the Pasir Ris MRT along the Green line and use the free shuttle service bus as provided. But the toilet was a little disappointing..the tiles, the shower head ,the basin and toilet bowls looked worn out. Next time, we will try again and hopefully will get a room at a higher floor.

    Downtown East
WOW very clouded today everywhere long queue, looks like there’s a outdoor events… it’s good to know that everybody here are healthy, cause nobody put on masks. NTUC also clouded.

Located in Pasir Ris, between Pasir Ris Drive 3 and Pasir Ris Park. is a one-stop leisure, lifestyle and dining destination and also a choice venue to enjoy a wide range of entertainment options at affordable prices. There is a massage parlour, NTUC supermarket, cinema, laundry service, chemist , bakery, kids party supply etc

A shuttle bus is available between the mall and Pasir Ris MRT it begin at 11:00 and ends at night.

Parking is good but not friendly for wild wild wet visitors. If you want to go wild wild wet from a carpark, you need to park in downtown east and then you have only 2 choice:-
    1. Take stairs
    2. Walk to down town east lift.

Very inconvenient location and over price chalets. Gone are the days of the old chalets as it have been demolish and new resort pattern ones are here to stay. I’m so amaze at the amount of tourist that stays here ? It’s super noisy to even sleep on a weekend night that I have to call the main desk. But I would say their efficiency is The people quiet down in 5 minutes! The BBQ is so small with a tiny prep place it’s miserable. With only 1 long table and 3 seats n bench it’s very hard to organise any bbq with a team. Everyone basically have to stand around.

I was from the east side of Singapore for most of my life and if you ever drop by Pasir Ris, please don’t skip visiting this place. There has been major upgrades in recent years and honestly, the only other thing that can make it complete is if Downtown East could just bring back the Escape Theme Park. Low rating due to safety aspect of the carpark can be better since it’s use by kids which comes to use the facilities.

Parked the vehicle at Level 4 and went to the lift lobby and saw that the lobby is upgrading. They did not have any signs to show one where to head to get to the malls. It’s rather dangerous for elderly and especially kids when their family comes to enjoy the facility.

The management might want to consider improving on this.

Probably as I was looking for restroom, the signs are not clear and I need to run to a different floor to find a restroom.

Great fun. There’s something for everyone, a good day out for kids and for adults too. The staff at the park are friendly and warm. A huge thumbs up to the park for hiring more local seniors and more local youths! Not only do they do their jobs well, many of them go the extra mile for guests too. It’s also obvious that there is a huge focus on safety for rides, employees are rotated on shifts to reduce fatigue especially under the hot sun.

Downtown East is one of the largest lifestyle and recreational hubs in Singapore. Its laid-back ambience, complete with resort facilities, a small bowling alley, cinema and a water park (Wild Wild Wet hailed as one of the top 10 water parks in Asia), makes for an attractive getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Although there are a few decent eateries, there isn’t any justified to be a “die die must-try” dining option.
