This donki outlet is rather small and can get squeezy at times. As expected of a smaller outlet, range of products are limited. Check in was a breeze and sanitisers are provided and placed at strategic spots. cashier was friendly and quite fast, so there was not much of a queue there despite it being kinda crowded. Packing area is outside of the store and there were only a few vacant space, but people were fast so it’s ok.

Love love love the products & services of this branch where there’s a comprehensive variety of food including my favourite natto beans and heart-healthy edamame beans!!! As it’s my first time visiting this branch, the staff had been very helpful in guiding me to the items that I wish to browse through for a start. I was also very grateful for the assistance of cashier Wendy who taught me how to use the TraceTogether apps by simply turning on Bluetooth, entering the apps and holding it against the safe-entry gateway box! Prior to her advice, I had been painstakingly scanning all the QR codes with the TraceTogether apps and that was quite a hassle for me as a would-be elderly aunty reaching my 50s!! It was a lengthy, time consuming process. That’s so sweet of her to coach me on the short cut to checking in and checking out. Wendy 感恩谢谢你!I also love the smile on her face. And for the rest of the staff whom I have not noted down your names, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank u very much for guiding me thru the store and also explaining how the don don DONKI membership apps work. Hope u guys can keep up all your eork efforts! I would be back with my hubby for more purchases including the yummy looking bento sets!!! Wow!

Popular Japanese supermarket chain that offers great value products. A huge range of product offerings. Look our for their seasonal range and special marked down prices.

The staffs are super friendly and helpful.

This outlet is quite cramped, especially during weekend when there’s a crowd. Shopping can be quite hectic. So try to avoid weekends.

    Open daily till 12 midnight.

Starting with the plus points – i love that the outlet has a large enough dining space for those who visit Donki to dine. The space is large enough, has a microwave, and is relatively clean. A small basin would be great though.
The outlet is relatively well organised like most donki outlets I’ve been to. Range of products seems pretty good too.

However, the outlet is a little small, so you do get a good range of product types but fewer varieties for specific products. Example, 10 sauces but only 2 brands or options per sauce type. The place can be a little more cramped due to the limited space between different displays.

It was also unfortunate that there weren’t many ready-to-eat food options available. It may be due to its popularity or just limited offerings.

Would certainly wish for a larger store but one Donki in the east is definitely better than none. I’ll take it.

Opened 15 Apr 2021. Small-ish Donki outlet with a cafeteria seating area for when you buy their ready made meals. The cafeteria also has a microwave. The estimated wait time for the queue around lunch time was 30-40mins, but it moved fast, and we were inside within 20mins.

Adequately stocked however this store is comparably smaller than the other outlets like City Square. Mall has ample parking. I was there on a weekday at 11:30 just before the crowds hit but it was still manageable.

Good alternative to the supermarkets in the region. However, after many weeks, the cooked food section variety didn’t change much. I think they stock too much fresh food items such as the sushi and some desserts which hardly move.

Some of the items such as alcohol can be very pricey. Given that Don Quixote is a bargain outlet in japan, I thought Don Don Donki will adopt similar pricing.

Hope to see more variety or change of variety.

My friend once came here hoping to buy shampoo but bam! Only 1 tiny section that’s non-food. Even so, the food section isn’t very extensive either. Rather they cut down snacks for their food.

I feel that this outlet of Don Don Donki was smaller than the other outlets; the dining area was smaller, no prize grabbers (gachapon was outside) and smaller selection of products, especially toys. Went there at about 9pm and just as expected, many of the ready prepared meals were already sold out especially the tonkatsu curry rice I wanted. In the end I had to settle with some omurice which was still better tasting than I had expected. As for the outlet itself, I was unable to find the toy section, but there were many food and confectionary products. The crepe cake was on offer, as well as bourbon snacks like Everyburger which waa 3 for $10 (the price felt okay).

A bit small for the first donki in the east. Still great as always. Do leave some time for queuing.

Everything is great about donki. The hot food is awesome. We had the sukiyaki don. Better to buy it in the morning so the onsen egg is still runny. Good complement for lunch if you are wild wild wet. The range of tea is also good.

Small thing – chopsticks is free and comes with a toothpick. If you buy sushi from Fairprice, they make you pay 10c for chopsticks.

    Yummy chirashi
It would be better if there are a few more pieces of sashimi as there’s quite leftover rice. …

A smaller store compared to the others but still it caters and carry items I need! There’s fresh vegetables, sushi, sashimi and desserts, frozen meat, dry stores and so much more! A small yet comprehensive outlet in the East!

Recently I tried these fettuccine gummy, which were sour and sweet – great as a wake up me chewy treat.

Oh yes, try to avoid going on a weekend or be prepared to Queue to checkout!

Glad that Don Don Donki opened this outlet in the East. My go-to place for all the fresh Japanese food!

I like the fruits and cakes here. Sometimes buy mirin, miso or soup powder. When there is sale i will buy chocolate, biscuit and sweets. I like the shuttle bus that took me to Pasir Ris bus interchange to go home.
