Information on this website is incorrect. The restaurant opens at 11:30 instead of 11. We arrived at 11:05. The waiters saw us standing outside the door waiting for at lease 10 mins and no one came to tell us that they are not open yet. No indication of opening hours outside of the restaurant either. Very bad service. Food is standard.

Din Thai Fung – the famous dumpling restaurant.

As we step inside I immediately realize our waitress has all the attributes of a professional assassin: efficient and detached, yet willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done – in this case, feeding the steady torrent of customers flooding through the doors.

Its not hard to see why the restrestaurant is packed – we sampled a selection of their favorites and were very impressed! Every dish had oodles of flavor and was perfectly cooked.

For those who are interested in the process of making dumplings, you’ll enjoy watching the chefs working their doughy magic on the fresh and flavorsome ingredients.

So yes, the hype is real and the wait is worth it.
