Nice food
Really enjoy the food here. My family, especially my oldest son, loves the xiao long bao. I myself prefer the black vinegar chilli wontons. Price is steep, and waiting time can be long on some days, but my family enjoys every meal we’ve been there. Helps that we live within walking distance too.
Good friendly service
Had a little unpleasant experience from one of the (part time) staff who was chasing us out after 9pm. I had arrived at 8.30pm which was apparently the time for the last order and the food arrived at 8.45pm. I was expected to finish my food in 15 minutes which was frankly quite ridiculous. Perhaps they should move the last order time at least 1 hour before closing time or inform the customers about closing time before they make any orders.
In terms of food, the dumplings were not really well prepared compared to usual. You could tell they were left in the cold for awhile before serving and the skin were all stuck to each other. Tried the crab meat xlb for the first time and surprisingly it was quite good. An interesting seafood twist to the usual.
That said, it was just one unpleasant experience. The other staff were very friendly and professional throughout.
Service drop
Good outlet to go to.
Love their特香香菇面(Noodles in fragrant mushroom and minced pork sauce) and their shrimp and minced pork dumpling. My favourite orders everytime I visit the place. Love their outlet at Seletar Mall on weekdays m
Best xiao long bao
Nice
Good food and service
ThevXiso Loong Pows were good…but the skin for Prawn Siew Mai failed in Quality, Taste and presentation.
The skin was just too thick…and spoiled the texture and eating experience!
Din Tai Fung was an all time favourite for me for many years but this visit was a disappointment. The service is good as always but waiting time to get a table is still long.
The disappointment is with the xiao long bao and spicy dumplings. The xlb is not longer as flavoursome. The spicy dumplings are sticky together and tough where meat tastes like a flour dough more than pork. I used to love this dish and can have 2 bowls but now it is neither spicy nor sour.
On the lucky end, the fried rice with shrimps and chicken soup are still as good.
But as always and recently, everything is getting pricey. For the price it is, it is not quite worth it.
Nice ambiance
Food is pretty nice!! Strongly recommend their dimsum and prawn fried rice. The environment is atas and classy !
…
Good taiwanese food
Nice food
The best Xiao Long Bao in Singapore …
Not Really Chinese But Taiwanese. But Good Enough. Service Fast Fast
Really love their Fried Rice with Charcoal-Grilled Bak Kwa & Egg . Now got promo on every Tuesday and Thursday .
Food to die for
It’s a place where you cab rely on when you need some comfort food like the Siao Long Pau or the Ramen. The quality has been consistent and there isnt too many varieties to confuse you. Price is on rhe high side if comparinf to hawker food
Good quality food.
Good ambience.
Good service.
…
My favourite place for hot & sour soup, beef noodle & fried rice.
Food look good to eat.
Good food. Attentive staff
Our regular spot for business lunch. Yummy.
Good food, order pork chop fried rice and the chicken soup
The veg mala hot pot very nice.
Great fried rice
Higher priced. Food can be quite bland
It was a mother-son bonding time on Apr 2 and he wanted to have dinner here so we drove here (instead of walking) since it was drizzling.
I leave it to him to order his usual dishes as I’m easy.
We had to wait for at least 30 minutes so we walked around the mall and it was nearer our queue, they will ping us.
It has been some time since I frequent DTF and that was back in Tampines. This is my 1st time at Seletar Mall outlet and I think it is not as crowded and it looks as if the internal is more spacious as compared to the one at Tampines. Or was it because it’s a late dinner, that’s why…ha ha.
A worthwhile visit. Nice and sumptuous food is served at Din Tai Fung. I enjoy the beef noodles which has a super stock base for their soup, taste like essence of beef. The pork dumplings are my favourite as well. Enjoy.
Service level at this outlet is good, always taking care of our needs especially when we have an infant baby with us. Thumbs up!
Consistent food quality but dining experience in sitting comfort needs to improve
There is no prior booking of table for lunch or dinner. Need to register and will given a queue number. Waiting time about 20 to 30 minutes depending on the crowd on that day. While waiting you can choose your dish from the given menu list. This queue system is very good. Place is cosy and clean. The service is good and food serve very fast. We like the fried rice with chicken meat which is thick and plenty. Will come again with family.
Good Chinese Food
I love to see them done, but I especially love to eat them
J’adore les voir faire, mais j’adore surtout les manger
Ordinary, but service was good
Took so long to grab a kids bowl and unhygienic. When they serve the rice, the use their hands on the rice. Not the first time. This is already happened 5 times. Don’t you guys hold the bowl to serve instead of putting your hands on top of the rice?
This branch not worth the visit – limited menu which is strange. Service also not up to scratch which again is strange for DTF.
Lots of good food and usually a long waiting queue. Go for dinner during weekdays where the queue is almost non existent
Good food and service.

Still the best fried rice in town. Xiao long bao is also another classic. 1 word to describe.. Nice
Good taste on the Chinese bao and dumplings
Love it.
prawn pancakes!
The dinning place is nice and food is good
Good steak at reasonable prices. Good service. Ample car parks nearby
Taste of food is not as good as other branches
Nice food.
Superb food and productive/attentive service staff.
Food was good. Ordered the drunken chicken (cold dish), duck fried with some wrap (was oily), the Signature xiaolongbao (good), shrimp and bamboo shoot noodle (hardly any bamboo shoot). Friend said the fried rice with pork chop was good and really worth the price.
We were seated near the entrance so service not great cos the wait staff were usually not looking at our table. But once we got their attention they were good.
Staple dishes such as fried rice and noodles only has 1 size: personal size. Not a place for proper dinning, but more for dim sum and small eaters. Menu item seem limited. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hope they improve on the food bit.
same same
Good food nice place
Food portions are reasonable & good presentation. Business are brisk.
I can’t rate it any lower than 5 stars when the food is a 5 and service level a 6, can I?
We had our meal there just a few days ago and will not forget the incident when i accidentally dropped one of my chopsticks. It landed with a faint sound. I could not see where it landed so i decided to continue enjoying my delicious meal of egg fried rice with a spoon that was on the table. To me it was a non-event. But before i could continue with my meal, a service staff appeared with a pair of chopsticks and placed it right in front of me. I was totally stunned. The attitude that ‘nothing is too small a task’ 无微不至的态度when coming to service just overwhelmed me. Thank you Din Tai Fung for the good food and the remarkable service. I will be back.
A place that I usually will visit once a week due to my kid’s request. The restaurant famous for the dumpling bun. Be prepared to wait during weekend lunch or dinner time. Always crowded.
Been to this outlet many times.es probably once a week for dinner at about 8 plus. Never ever disappointed with the food especially the xiao long pau. I always lazy to scan the QR code to place oder a d was always assisted by Su Fei in ordering. She always serves with a smile. Keep it up!!
Overall it is good.
整体來說是不錯的。
hands down best place for dumplings. Not to mention their egg fried rice which is amazingly delicious and value for money !
Always long queue but the serving speed is fast. Most of the dumplings are pre-made though as you can see the chefs keep making the dumpling behind the glass.
The queue management is ok. Just get the paper and wait for your queue. If you missed just tell and it will be your turn next. Most of the queues are about 30 minutes long at least.
Foods are good. There was one time I over-ordered a lot of dumplings because there are so many options. They were great until we were full. The truffles are a bit overpriced. One at $5.
Most branches we went are quite crowded esp on Friday & weekends. Nice choices of food, kids loves their dumplings, fried rice, chicken soup & loves to watch the chef makes the dumlings! Very long queues but their services are still fast enough!
It was lunch for two at Din Tai Fung in Seletar Mall. The steamed basket containing 5 pieces of xiao long bao was an upset. The bao and minced pork within has shrunk in size and content to a small dollop of 4cm diameter easily gulped down in one mouthful. The noodles with sliced mushrooms was also an upset. It was soggy with soy sauce. The only salvos were the fried rice and pickled cucumber.
Didn’t bother to take photos.
Still maintain good food quality and standard which you can expect for a Din Tai Fung chain
The food was excellent and the service was quick. We went right before dinner time and managed to skip the queue but on weekends and during holidays, the restaurant can fill up fast and you may need to queue for a while.
Quiet DTF place for weekdays lunch
Great place for lunch. Not that many people
What I love the most in din tai fung is their JA JIANG MIAN!!! don’t forget to add their chilli and mix it tgt super duper yummy xiaolongbao is too mainstream I mean like everyone loves it and it’s a must order too. So let’s talk about other food like the century eggs and the suan cai din tai fung never fail us NEVER!! …
There is a very nice xiao long bao
Expect a short queue in the weekends evenings. Try the fried rice!
Food is great
Good reasonable price food
Monthly eating out here food are good
Food was expensive and average – staff were great
Nice food with good dumplings
Although the price is a bit high, but the taste is first-class, pork ribs fried rice, shrimp cakes, stir-fried but white, must-order dishes.
价钱虽然高了一点,但,味道一流,排骨炒饭,虾饼,清炒乃白,必点之菜。
Order my food to go
Quite standard DTF. Great, friendly service. Long queues during peak hours.
Good food
Moderate size Din Tai Fung. Service was excellent as always and queue moved rather quickly compared to other outlets. Food was good too, however their baos were totally not worth it. Their red bean bao especially, the red bean paste wasn’t smooth and tasted terrible.
My favorite egg fried rice
The go to for dumplings, efficient service, delicious consistent food that all ages enjoy. Lemongrass drink has frozen lemongrass flavoured ice block, genius! We have a set preference when we go, but the range is wide. Most kids will love it too.
Fast and very tasty.
Second time here and the food is consistent as usual. Price steeper than usual, which is to be expected across the outlets.
Technology update: you can scan the qr code at the entrance to get the q number. Can be busy during lunch/dinner times. Be sure to come early.
DTF usually has good service. This outlet is one of the better ones I have visited.
Don Tai Fung is a goto for good dim sum and other delicious Chinese food. The service is always quick, but the line up to get in can be long. Don’t let that turn you away, the food is worth the wait.
Food’s good, as expected of Din Tai Fung.
Nice
Food’s tasty. Service’s excellent.
Decent but overpriced/hyped
Excellent food and service. Consistent quality every time I’ve been there
A good Din Tai Fung restaurant with wide spaces, high ceiling, and bright lightings. Food is yummy and service is friendly.
Nice food service good
Food is good but price is not.
Surprised that it was not crowded at dinner time, but no complaints as food was served promptly. Huge outlet with many tables, love their XLB and zha jiang mian. Definitely one of the best places to have XLB around.
Food super good
Food was good as usual.. Just that service was a little slow today. But they promptly took action after feedback was given.
Just want to share about my point of view on that day is on Friday is a good Friday evening i went to Seletar Mall to have my dinner at Din Tai Fung and waited for awhile because a lot of people also having dinner at that time after waited long time, my turn have come and this Junior captain call “Wang Wei” Staff no is 2089 bring us in to have our table near the window she help us a lot that why i want to said a big thanks to her, on that day she was very helpful and kind that make me and my family really grateful and enjoy our dinner please help us to thanks her on our behalf, I will really help to recommend to all my friends to have a nice meal at Din Tai Fung really thank you all.
Awesome place with the xiao long bao. One of my fav is the green chili appetitizer. Should try the roselle drink as well. Thumbs up for the food
Been visiting this din tai fung multiple times already for lunch and so far hasn’t disappoint us yet. Great service and food as expected
Good food good service
Food is definitely great. The chopped pork was juicy and rich with fat and paired well with its light egg fried rice. Earl grey lemon tea recommended. The steamed dumplings here are well done. Service and speed is up there, considering the volume of customers.
Can be a tad pricey, but the value is still okay. Also, it’s open to the noise of the mall.
Nice
As usual good quality food and customer service.
Environment pleasant, dishes clean and music soothes atmosphere, the menu might require to do amendments. For eg fried rice either with egg, or others, can modify, unless there’s morale in it, the promotion may place for sight of Customers regardless placement an order is done or not. This belongs to Own’s view. Thank you for prompt order, serving and payment. 谢谢您们的招待。
back for more pork chop fried rice
Food quality has dropped tremendously.
1. Pork chop fried rice (pork still tender and juicy but rice is too oily)
2. XLB – Thick got thicker, less broth in the bao
3. Chicken broth – recipe has definitely changed. Tasted light with some msg.
4. Prawn wanton – fillings no longer tasty and thick skin
Service wise – super short handed though staff still friendly
Visited 19th Dec for lunch
Nice place for nice meal.
Din Tai Fung never fails! Love their fried rice and xiaolongbao!
Nice ambience, good service
Nice mango pudding with mango bits inside, coconut milk on top goes really well
Good food and price slightly on the high side
Always great. Always consistent. Super fats service. I recommend the spicy noodles, rice with egg and pork, spicy wonton, hot and sour soup, duck in crispy spring onion pastry
Standard dropped the xiao long bao and pork chop fried rice does not taste as good as before.
Good taste.
Fried rice is the best..
Amazing food.
The food is lovely. The ambience is lovely. Everything is lovely in DTF.
Slow service although the place is not crowded stepped in almost 4pm. Tried very hard to signal the waitresses but to no avail. Got to walk up to them to inform that we wanted to order. Food wise is as usual. Still as good
They close at 2130hrs and last order was 2045hrs.
Yum
Food was pretty ok but pricey for the quantity
Nice egg fried rice, small side dishes
Food and service was good and prompt
Service is okay and food is average. Place is family friendly and recommended.
Good food and service
I was there early to order food around 10:10. However the outlet would only serve customer from 10:30 onward. The waiter is rude to tell me off. With the advancement of service standard in singapore, it is rare to have similar experience.
Din Tai Fung was an all time favourite for me for many years but this visit was a disappointment. The service is good as always but waiting time to get a table is still long. …
There are not many choices, things are not to my taste, the price is not cheap
选择不多,东西不合我口味,价钱不便宜
Second time here and the food is consistent as usual. Price steeper than usual, which is to be expected across the outlets.
Technology update: you can scan the qr code at the entrance to get the q number. Can be busy during lunch/dinner times. Be sure to come early.
Due to Covid, only take out.
Superb food as always. Pricey, yes. Value for money, not too sure. The fried rice is to die for as always. But a little ex for a small little plate.
Nice chinese food with reasonable price
One day it was nice service one day bad service on weekend. The place has a nice canal view. The xiaolongbao here are more generous in soup and the skin is not as thick compared to din tai Fung tampines mall and junction 8. It’s always a long wait especially on weekends.
Great food as always
Love the pork chop fried rice and xiao long bao. Yums!
Din Tai Fung is always out of my choice although there’re quite a long Q
Great food
Good food but high price
Attentive service, food is always hot, something many others have taken for granted.
tasty

Good
Good place to get a seat to enjoy Din Tai Fung
Good place to get consistent good quality xiao long bao the rest of the dishes were quite yummy too lole the wanton in spicy sour sauce, the garlic paste pork and the zhajiangmian. Service was efficient and polite. Lunch for 4 pax came up to be $105. Will continue to patronise the restaurant just for the xiao long bao.
Service from leading waitress and quality of XLB not up to the usual DTF standards from this outlet. Please ensure consistency thru out branches.
Foo
Food quality has been consistent but soft skill of staff lacking over years. Unlike in their earlier days, staff are super attentive.
The restaurant is fantastic because the food is always consistently good. The restaurant is better than many of their other locations because the tables are widely spaced apart from each other, giving you lots of room to move around and chat without disturbing neighbors. I There is a long queue during dinner hours so come early or later.
The food is good. Very well organised for taking orders, serving by chefs and the clearing. The disadvantage for non Chinese is many of the waiters do not speak in English. Should add salted agg buns and hot drinks eg hot lemongrass
Food was great. The only downside is you still have to wait another 20-30mins for your food. Even after you’re seated.
Good food with average servings
Service is quick & attentive. But it could be because it was 11 am and raining outside…
5/5 for the great service.
4/5 for the food. Signature fried rice and Xiao long Bao are the best.
3/5 for the price. About S$30 per pax.
There was quite a queue to eat there but didn’t have to wait long as the service was fast. Didn’t have to wait long for the food either. Food was delicious.
Good food and friendly staff. Personal favorite being the drunken chicken, dumpling with vinegar and the fried rice with pork chop.
Enjoyed
Nice Xiao Long Bao
Nice 小笼包 …
U can’t go wrong with Din Tai Fung
Fried rice with pork chop is absolutely delicious. And the food is consistent across various outlets.
Food was ok, would prefer it to be more flavorful. Service was very good.

Most may have long queues but if you come at an hour that is non-peak, there is actually no queue. There is a lot of food here, most known for the xiao long bao that is very delicious here.
