Fantastic food and great service. A lot of dishes are ‘must try’. Crabs and clams are fresh. Bee Hoon with pig trotter and bee hoon with clams are good.

Diamond kitchen sets into a quaint area with excellent food and excellent service.

Was glad that the staff paid detail attention to our needs and helped to give us a good overall dining experience.

The food is tasty and authentic. Close us into a wonderful Chinese dinner feel whereby no dish is cooked wrongly.

Every dish is on point with flavours well balanced.

This place should be very crowded & popular soon !

The signature dish of smoke duck, and chili crêpe are excellent.

The pork floss bean curd, sesame oil chicken, cereal prawns and spinach all are nice. The champagne ribs is awful… Thick and hard… Need to improve considering it’s their signature…. My downstairs tze char pork ribs taste softer and nicer. Like the service and ambience !

It’s a bit out of the way, but the price of crab is good and the amount of fried rice is huge. I ate about 94 dollars a piece. It was written on Facebook that the promotional 3 crabs for 49 is only until October, but it is still doing it.

50/100 not as good as before, drunken prawns are frozen prawns (a big no no for culinary world), the Bak Bao is tough meat and sauce blend. The legendary lala beehoon no longer legendary, it’s just not the same as before.

The restaurant was located in a secluded area in Science Park Drive with plenty of car parking lots. It was spacious and clean, rather quiet. All the attendants were polite and responsive to our needs.

We were impressed with the Champagne Pork, Steamed Seabass and Chilli Crabs.

Seabass was fresh and steamed to right texture, tasted delicious.

The Chilli Crab must be their Signature Dish, it was done really well. The crabs were fresh and gravy was so delicious, especially when we dipped with “mantou”. We ordered another serving of “mantou” to finish up the gravy.

The Champagne Pork was tender and delicious, a rather unusual dish.

For 11 of us, we spent around $41 each for a total of 8 dishes, a dessert and 2 servings of mantou. Pretty good deal indeed.

3 crabs for $49.90? There’s no gimmick, only fresh crustaceans! I’ve been here more than a dozen times and I think because of COVID-19 the crabs have grown larger. Do come and support this hidden gem to keep them going!

The best dishes are the black pepper crab, champagne pork ribs, salted egg spinach, and the lala bee hoon.

Service at the place is good and the food, meehoon with lala, squids, fried chicken paste, sea cucumber in craypot style was pipping hot with nice aroma and was very well done. We had some good beers too. Enjoyed the lazy saturaday afternoon lunch with a old buddy!

Chose this quiet place for Saturday family dinner and we like the ambience. Ordered signature dishes but leftout crabs for another visit. I have pre-ordered the menu because at peak hour the kitchen starts to slowdown. Thumbs up for salted egg sotong, pig trotter beehoon (wet), claypot sea cucumber, pumpkin tofu, gan xiang prawns and orh nee. Red grouper 1.2 kg Hong Kong steam was just ok, some parts a bit tough. On hind sight should have gotten a smaller fish. The garlic chilli lala was my least favourite, somehow lack wok hei and starchy.

Happen to visit Diamond kitchen with my colleagues for lunch, as the other restaurant was closed today.

The scenary from the restaurant looks to an outside pool, and in view of the current Normantan Park construction buildings. Imagine how nice it will look after the place is done up.

Staff are very pleasant and polite. Food prices are surprisingly not too expensive when we saw the menu. It’s still affordable given the setting. We ordered the fried Hor Fun, wok hei was awesome but the flavour was on the weaker side compared to other common fried noodles. The champagne pork ribs was sweet and the touch of champagne flavour was icing on the cake for me. It was enjoyable and I will recommend trying it if you visit the place. Sweet potato vegetables was also nice, as we wanted something with sauce. To end the meal, we ordered the Gingko Yam Paste. It was loaded with coconut cream and the yam paste was smooth and had the right amount of sweetness. Definitely try it if you like Yam Paste or a Traditional Teochew! It is good. However if you like the very sticky type, then this may not be your kind of yam paste.

Give Diamond Kitchen a try if you work or pass by Science Park. Come early as lunch crowd does happen here. Stay safe and eat well. Cheers

The quality of food has dropped drastically. Seems that the kitchen has taken some cooking shortcuts or compromised the quality of the food to ensure that the dishes are ready for each table in time with the full house for CNY. Well, everything is in time on time esp for the restaurant to turn over for the next round of diners but we are thoroughly disapponted with the food and striking Diamond kitchen from my to go list.

Went with my family. First we’ve made reservations for 4 crabs and we are being brought to a small table which obviously couldnt fit in other dishes we were gonna order. We then decided to ask for a change for the table but was rejected and was told most tables are reserved and there isnt empty tables left. After talking to their manager they finally decided to change us to a biggee table and we were there chit chatting and eating for about 2- 3 hours. The issue is the restaurant was never fully full at any moment at all. I think their staff lacks professionalism and flexibility to make proper judgements for diners to enjoy their dinner. Their lala bee hoon was good but the rest of their food ai t fresh. Not the prawns nor even the crab. We ordered twoblack pepper and two chilli but the black pepper was replaced with gan xiang…and frankly both were below average. I will think twice to eat there again.

We came here for Mother’s Day dinner as we have been here several times and love their crabs and claypot dishes. Indeed the food did not disappoint, everyone was complimenting the food non-stop. We tried the sauna prawns, fish maw soup and salted egg crabs for the first time. They were all superb. Especially love their fish maw soup, full of 料 and flavourful. The sauna prawns were extremely fresh. The claypot brinjal is also a must order for us, but be careful, it’s extremely hot when it first arrived. Service is slightly slow, but there were very attentive in refilling our tea pots and taking note our requests.

Saw on their website under the promotions page that there is a $30 for 2 Sri Lankan crabs promotion (no end date indicated on the promo poster). However, upon arrival they informed me that the promo has ended. Felt scammed that they did not remove the promotion poster on their website.

Variety of food is wide, with unique dishes i.e. pumpkin tofu etc. Taste wise is slightly above average, DO NOT order the la la beehoon; you can get better ones at coffeeshops.

Went with a group of friends and this place really surprised us. It was a little out of the way at Science Park, but the experience was good. There was a promotion for the crabs, so it was a good deal. $30 for two (albeit small-sized) crabs, but we managed to get two sets. We also ordered the lala beehoon (which was good), and then later we decided to just get an additional salted egg yolk crab (which wasn’t on promo), that was at original price at $65. The sauce was to die for, and since our previous crabs were on promo, the whole meal wasn’t that expensive. Wish more people would know about the place. The food really isn’t bad!

A lunch order of Lala Beehoon, Steamed Prawns and Pumpkin Tofu came up to slightly over $80. The small portion of Steamed Prawns arrived in a big bamboo steamer with lots of charcoal and only 7 prawns. Each prawn costs $4. Food here tasted more of cze-char standard than that of a restaurant. Definitely overpriced in my opinion. Not accessible if no car. Doubt it makes sense to pay additional to GRAB here. Overall ambience and service was decent so am inclined to give a 2.5 star rating.

Good place for weekend, not overly crowded but still do make reservations if possible. (1)扬州炒饭- simple, tasty, good, wokhei. (2)spinach w 3 eggs- yummy (3) champagne porkribs – mixed feedback, 1 pax said meat not evenly marinated, others said ok. (4) 干香螃蟹- 3 for $49.90 deal worth it! (5) HCG – awesome, well marinated chicken, not just the skin.

Tossed in the restaurant’s signature homemade salted egg sauce, each deep-fried potato slice was evenly coated with flavours that set your tongue tingling. A dish for both young and the old, this will definitely whet your appetite for what’s about to come.

I always order sheng mian (crispy noodles) $6 and curry chicken with rice $7. Occasionally I will order fried ice cream ($3.50 each) as a treat 😀 The sheng mian was excellent as usual, but the curry chicken is now fried with batter (which turns soggy in the curry). I vaguely remember that the curry chicken and fried ice cream used to be cheaper…but I could be mistaken. Remember there’s 10% service charge, 7% gst. Yummy and sumptuous!
