While DHL as a courier service is excellent but this center leaves a lot to be desired.
There are no creature comforts. No restroom, no water cooler.
This place is at a distance from Tei Seng MRT station, so many visitors may need water by the time they come here to receive their shipment.
But the staff there is helpful, no complaints regarding that.

It’s difficult to get the first contact to reply, need to approach a few times then they’d get back. However from that point onward the process was very fast and smooth. Delivery was fast too. Communication was a bit messy but was manageable.
I’d say DHL is one of the better shipping/delivery companies, it’s very fast although it’s more into the pricey side.
Hopefully they can be better in the communication, like the first point of contact mentioned above and using one email thread to update and discuss about the shipment instead of multiple email thread.

I’d like to express my sincere thanks to DHL (s) for its excellent service, especially to Michelle Ong who helped arrange to collect and send back my bag with a laptop inside that I lost overseas a few weeks ago. Without her patience and continuous efforts, I won’t be able to get back my bag so smoothly. Actually it is not an easy job, and many other courier companies rejected my request. I have done maybe 15 shipments (import and export) with DHL Singapore in 2017 so far. I gave them 2 stars as their core competency, quick delivery is there. My overseas shipments have reached or been sent out all within 18 – 72 hours, great. 2 Stars cause their staff in their payroll are grossly incompetent. Out of the 15 shipments with them, maybe 5 went smoothly (no problems), rest always had issues, which is solely the fault of admin staff. Issues like package dropped off (in their system), did not show tracking, call them and blamed shipper (even when I had a receipt picture). Or like when I used their system to export, system said pick up from my shop, asked to change to home, she said cannot, so changed pick up date, then they went to my house for a failed pickup. There are other stories, but you get the picture.The only reason these people have their jobs seems to be DHL has their core competency in order to support these loads of useless people. If management ever reads this, its time to think why the high rate of admin failures.

This place is located in a calm area and easily visible from traffic. The representatives were very helpful and courteous. They helped in packing my stuff and were giving useful information. The process was easy and very quick. Unlike other centers, the representatives were knowledgeable here and were updated with the recent regulations in the logistics market. The only disadvantage of this is that the bus stop is a bit far off.

I must say that i had a brilliant customer experience at this Tai Seng Branch for DHL. I was distressed by day’s attempt to seek various courier service including our local postal services to get my important document send abroad. And i need a return prepaid courier shipment back to me from the recipient. None can provide that. Even DHL call centre can’t give me a satisfying answer. I was desperately trying to find solution. My dire search led me to Tai Seng. And that was almost 1hr before counter closing. I was attended by Counter staff Ms Mary Ong. She patiently attended to me. She first advised me where to park my car as all the lots were taken up by the contractors there. So she guided me to just park at the porch opposite and then went on to assist me. Im just very thankful that there was a pleasant and helpful staff who was attentive to my needs. She went the extra mile helping me to find solutions to my situation. I would go all length to write this to thank her and congratulate DHL for having trained a staff like her. Definitely an asset to your organisation. As a HR at Changi, I would have offered her a position with my esteemed organisation. Thus do offer my compliments to Ms Mary Ong for the exceptional service rendered to me and the customers she served. Thank you.
