This supermarket is nice to shop at except that they sold us a probiotic drink that expired a week ago. We patronised the store on 12 November 2022 and purchased two packs (5 bottles in 1 pack) of the Meadows Probiotic Drink. However, we found out the next day (13 Nov) that the drinks had past its expiry date of 4 November 2022.

I decided to buy groceries while I was staying at the Ascott Orchard Hotel during my visit to Singapore. This place was a 5-7 min walk from my hotel and is open til 10pm. It had a large array of foods and produce to choose from making it very convenient. It’s also surrounded by high end shopping so as a tourist you don’t feel out of place or in a “local” supermarket making it feel fairly familiar while you are there. Recommend stopping by for groceries or different snacks and treats you can’t find at convenience stores on the streets.

First time here at this upscaled version of Cold Storage, and was thoroughly impressed. Even the other CS Fresh outlets cannot beat the experience here. From the moment you walk in, to how the different counters having someone professional looking standing behind servicing you, and the freshness of all the grocery items, is simply astounding.
I like how they segment the fresh produce from the shelf-stuff, and that when you walk in, you’ll be wow-ed by what they’re strongest in first before the other standard supermarket things follow through towards the cashiers.
Came here for some cheese, and wasn’t disappointed at all. The selection of cheese is wide, and prices are fair. Picked 4 cheeses for my upcoming party, alongside some salami, and off I went!

Saw staff unpacking boxes of big fresh honey mangoes. However, she was literally throwing the mangoes out and haphazardly piling them up. Two fell on the floor. I bought 3 lovely mangoes and left them in the kitchen to ripen as they were still hard. Horrified when next day one mango started rotting at the top with black juice dripping out followed hours later by another!

I was there in April, and shall not forget the services provided by Ms Kasturi of FNV Dept and Shelvin Ang, Cashier.
