My hotel room in the Jewel wing was a welcome oasis after a very long day of travel. Although the actual hotel looks stylish and cool, the atmosphere isn’t due to a lot of children running around. There’s also barely anyone at the lounges or restaurants so don’t expect a fun atmosphere.

This is the hotel of choice for a range of leading airlines including Gulf Air (the national carrier of The Kingdom of Bahrain recently nominated “The world’s most improved airline”, Saudia Airlines, Japan Airlines, Whizz, and others. The guest rooms are in my opinion awesome with large bathrooms with freestanding baths. Great housekeeping, awesome facilities, superb restaurants and food and a great general ambience. The rooms are wonderfully noise and light proof and if it wasn’t for TV you wouldn’t know if it was day or night. Ordered the Golden Treasures Seafood Pen Cai and it was the worst thing ever. When arrived, the ingredients inside the pot were displaced and looked soggy. I want to share about my son who was doing his internship 6 months for the hotel. He had the worst experience during his entire Internship period as he got bullied by Executives Sandra & Melissa in F&B dept who are supposedly to be his partially mentor. One evening, he accidentally left his shoes at the lobby. Panicked, he called the hotel concierge to look for it because is his working shoes. Sandra called him immediately while he was driving and screamed at him for troubling and she mentioned they were busy but she has the time to call and shouted at him when she suppposedly was busy. I was beside and could hear her shouting at my son. I snatched the phone and she was rude and hang up on me. Being in service industry, is this right way to handle customer who left their belonging. student is learning from this internship how to manage customers with such experience. Such teaching make me wonder how to work at your hotel. Employer branding will be damaged by both Sandra n Melissa as your hotel is 5 star range but if the staff is inpatient and rude staff how to retain new staff. Maybe you can look into this department the staff turnover rate. I will highlight this experience to the school for their next internships that the staff training is not giving guidance to student how to do the job but will get nightmares or scream from the staff.

This is the perfect place to stay if you’re transiting through Changi. The staff are all very friendly, the pool area is beautiful, the food is good, and the location can’t be beat. It’s also great to be able to walk to the Jewel Shopping Center in about 5 minutes.
Overall, a comfortable stay with very good location and facilities. There are many f&b options beyond what is available in the hotel. Room is clean and comfortable with good view of the pool. A view of the airport apron would’ve been better especially for aviation nuts.

This is a super handy hotel if you have an extended time between your flights at SIN.
Day rooms are available however their main fare is traditional room offerings ie check in at 3 and out in the morning. Not the best solution but they do seem to be able to check people in earlier with rooms becoming available.
I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities as well as the size of the room.
Bed was comfortable with decent pillows. Despite being middle of the day I was able to get the room nice and dark for sleep. The room was well insulated from the noise of planes as well.
The bathroom was huge with separate bath and a very large shower.
TV was decent and Wifi was fast however you needed to be checked into your room to be able to access this.
There is a workout room as well as a pleasant swimming pool area.
Pricing is on the higher side when you consider you could get a room at the Ritz Carlton for only a couple of hundred more a night.
That said you are paying for the locality right next to terminal 3 and the Jewel shopping precinct. (All connections under cover which was great given the storms today!)
The hotel is land side however from the gate to the check in counter took us 12 min as immigration was empty and our bags were checked through so didn’t need to collect.
Recommended if you have a longish layover in SIN, I recommend you review check in options to make sure you don’t have to wait around if you are arriving early.

Very nice hotel conveniently located inside the airport. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the circumstances prompt it but if you have an early flight and don’t want to deal with getting to the airport at an awkward hour then this is your place. Customer service via phone is bad. My agoda booking is being cancelled for a reason and I try to get it resolve, the only resolution is to rebook at a higher rate. The customer service even try to up sell a higher grade room to me. Agoda emailed me to ask me response on the booking in 44 hours due that the credit card I provided is not able to charge, I get a fraud transaction thus I called to bank to block the credit card few days ago. I dont check my email daily as yet there are lots of spam marketing mails inclusive from agoda. My question is why I dont get alert from the app nor being call. I told the customer service that I dont check my email daily and she is ego to reply back that she do check her personal email daily.

Very convenient for those who have a short stopover in Singapore or who need to be at the airport at an early hour. Location next to Jewel made finding a place for dinner and last-minute shopping very easy. Very comfortable beds. Staff was very welcoming, and acknowledged my frequent stayer status.
We were going to be in Singapore for only 3 days and two nights. Given the limited time, we decided to stay in Crowne Plaza Changi because of its proximity to the airport and saving us time during arrival/departure. it was a good decision – due to the hotel’s location, the time between us getting our bags from the flight and ending up in our hotel room was probably just 15 minutes. Because of that, on the day of our arrival, we had enough time to freshen up then explore Jewel which was connected to the hotel through a walkway. We then only needed to get the 1-day singapore tourist pass, which we used on the next day to explore some singapore highlights. we dont feel rushed on the day of our departure because of the easy connection of the hotel to any Changi terminal.
We love that we can see the airplanes landing and taking off from our floor to ceiling glass windows, and the pool is very inviting and has unique features. thus we had plenty to do in the hotel itself. Props to the shower too – good water pressure, and the mist feature makes a shower thoroughly enjoyable, like walking through a heavy, natural mist.
I would have given 5 stars except for the housekeeping issue. Daily housekeeping isn’t available, you have to request it through the reception, which is totally understandable. nevertheless, we had an interesting interaction with them when we called for housekeeping.
so I called to request for housekeeping and the interaction went roughly like this:
me: hello, may i request for some housekeeping for room ***?
reception: yes, what do you need?
me: just general house keeping and tidying up.
reception: yes, what exactly do you need?
me: uh… housekeeping? at least the towels need some replacing and just to make the bed while we’re gone? and perhaps an extra mug for coffee or tea since there are three of us and there are only two mugs? and wash the mugs that are already used?
reception: ok we will send someone
me: ok we will leave now so please do the housekeeping anytime.
then a couple of minutes after the call, just when we were about to leave, a lady buzzed and brought us extra towels and an extra mug.
we left and came back that night and no other housekeeping was done aside from bringing us the towel and a mug.
it is not a huge thing, but at this price point for similar hotels in singapore, it is not the level of service we expected. I would have given the stay a 5-star rating but I just can’t with the less than ideal experience.

My first choice at Singapore airport. A 1 minute walk from terminal 3 and you are there. A lovely hotel with lovely amenities and true Singaporian hospitality. After several stays I always feel refreshed afterwards and happy to rebook for my next stay. One thing that is slighy odd though is that the hotel is so dark. Black floors and black walls, where if you arrive at a quiet time you could easily think it was closed. I love room service next to the pool and watching the aircraft come and go.
The staff for room service is terrible : it is next to impossible to get exactly the food you ordered for in-room dining. There is always something missing, whether it is the drink, the bread, a jam or anything, you will almost every time have something missing. And then when you call them again for them to get the missing items to your room, they will sound annoyed and take forever to bring the missing items. No generosity, you can be sure of it.
Some of the staff is nice, but some others are really rude.
Apart from this, the hotel is nice. The swimming pool is great, I had a great time there. Some light bulbs are broken in the rooms, some appliances are unplugged (probably from previous room occupants and the staff does not bother to check everything is ok).
If you are on the top floor, you can hope that they will not start some construction work on the roof like they did to me, otherwise you will not be able to sleep during the day.
Overall it gives the impression that the staff is quite lazy and considers guests to be annoyances.
Again, I repeat that some of the staff is perfectly fine.

The room is expected. We have almost everything we need for a late check-in. The bed is comfortable and pillows just nice. If there is anything, there are no toilet rolls when I checked in and the air-con seems forever blowing even if I have turned the temperature up or turn it off.

Stayed in a king suite for two nights, 2 adults and one child. Amazing location in the airport and so close to the Jewel experience. Used the pool and gym which were perfect for a short stay. Room service was so/ so but otherwise throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Elderly parents with a 20 hour lay over in Singapore. We can not thank the staff enough for the care they gave mum and dad during their stay. Was there for a staycation with our 2 year old. Was rather happy when we saw the spacious room.
However, the aircon was freezing cold and we called Concierge at 4+pm. A technician came up and did some adjustments, assuring us that the temperature will go up as adjusted. We went out and came back at maybe 8+/9+ pm, but the room was still freezing just as before. Called Concierge and the SAME technician came up, who did some adjustment and again assured as that all was fine and the room would get warmer.
Long story short, we waited (and waited) but the room did not get any warmer, even after another group of technicians came up to shut off one of the air vents. Was eventually offered at room change but it was already 1+am and our toddler was already asleep, and so we decline. We slept with the aircon off but somehow the room was still cold and super dry. We slept poorly and my toddler came down with a cold the next day. Eventually got a room change for the second night and it was so much better, but again we slept poorly because our sick toddler kept us up.
I fully understand that sometimes, facilities do break down. However, we are extremely upset that the technician failed to inform us that there was something wrong with the aircon system that he could not fix. Surely by the second time he came up, he would have realised that something was wrong. Had he informed us truthfully instead of giving us false assurances that things were fine, we could have proceeded with a room change earlier instead of having to suffer through the night. As I type this review my toddler is still unwell.

This is a beautiful but incredibly badly designed hotel. My family often stays at Crowne plaza just before our flights. It has a great location connected to terminal 3. However, we have a few complaints. Firstly, a recurring issue Grab drivers told us was that they are not allowed or not able to get into the drop off area in front of the lobby which apparently is reserved for Taxis only. So you’ll have to walk to T3 if you’re using grab. Also, if
you are driving, the street signposting is not clear as the signs say “airport hotel” which is very generic as opposed to Crowne Plaza. Secondly, and more importantly, the choice of floor tiles is so dangerous. Sleek black tiles – very pretty – but so dark and so slippery when wet. Fell down a few times. The corridors are so poorly protected, the rain completely beats in and water was everywhere, a desperate facility management person was hopelessly trying to mop up the flood to no avail. I was so sorry for the guy. Whoever designed this has either doesn’t realize it rains in Singapore or lacks empathy or both. Why would you have decorative metal mesh that doesnt also protect against rain.. I was deliberating how many stars for this review but since they have not done anything to remedy this, I’ve decided to go with 1 star. It’s really upsetting that since they opened in 2008 (14 years ago?!?) they’ve literally let this serious safety issue slide. Edited to add: the ventilation system sporadically makes long loud high pitched ringing sounds. Went on at 10pm and 3am, 5 and 7am.. pretty awful :c
We flew direct to Singapore from SF and stayed here for one night before we flew out to Malaysia. It wasn’t cheap ($300 USD), but it was convenient to be able to walk straight from the terminal to the hotel. I booked a King Bed Standard Jewel Wing room and received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. I also asked for free late checkout as an IHG member, which we also received. Our room faced the air strip, and, with ear plugs and our white noise machine, wasn’t too noisy. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. We tried to order two different Grabs to head out into the city, but both drivers had trouble finding the pickup location in front of the hotel. We ended up catching a taxi that was dropping people off (for almost double the amount of the Grab fee). Next time, I would probably stay deeper in the city for cheaper unless I really needed the convenience.

Long story short, this hotel is a very convenient and sensible location for travellers with a short transit in Singapore. My family booked for 2 nights in the Jewel Wing as we flew in to Changi late night Tue and the next flight was early AM on Thu. Staying two nights here allowed us to avoid any stress on the commute to and from the airport on both arriving and departing days from Singapore.
The rooms are clean, well-sized and very well appointed. However there were a few areas that left me confused and scratching my head:
– Walls were very thin: Yawns, coughs, sneezes and sometimes even normal conversations from the adjacent room can be heard clearly. For us, this was not a huge issue as family resided in these adjacent rooms but if it were strangers it would have most likely have been quite awkward and distracting.
– Smoke Alarm: The ceiling smoke alarm directly above the bed had a very bright green light that flashed approx every 10 seconds at night. This was very distracting when trying to go to sleep, this eventually stopped.
– Walking Distance to Jewel Wing: Our booking was in the Jewel Wing as that was the only availability at time of booking. On arrival we were surprised by the long walk and number of escalator/lifts required from concierge to our rooms. This was a minor issue but did leave us confused noting vast majority of guest here would be walking about with pieces of luggage.
Overall, none of the above were dealbreakers and the Crowne Plaza Changi provided a very convenient hotel stay that worked well with our travel plans.
Best Hotel to Stay right at airport. Hotel has everything to offer which any 5 Star Multinational Hotel can offer. Currency Exchange is available at Hotel. One level down from Hotel you have food court and Metro Station to connect city. One level up you Jewel Mall too. I guess it is a perfect location for either Business or tourist visitors.
I stayed only for 1 night in this hotel but wished I could have stayed longer. It is my first time staying at airport hotel, especially in singapore. I really love the high floor view from my bathroom where I can enjoy my bath in the bathtub. The whole room is very clean, quiet, modern and classy. Only small downside is the queue during check in but other than that no other issues. Access to airport and the Jewel shopping mall is also very convenient and easy. The staff were pretty helpful in helping me and my partner getting a cab to the city or keeping my luggage the next day in storage after checking out since my flight is at night. Overall I enjoyed my 1 night stay and definitely will recommend for anyone transitting in singapore and dont mind to pay a little higher for a really nice comfortable stay at airport.
My wife and I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth and efficient thanks to the friendly and helpful service provided by Nabilah. The room was spacious and had a great view of the airport runways. The bathtub was also a nice touch and was quite large. However, the breakfast options were not halal, but there were vegetarian options available. The hotel also had an app for reporting faults which I found to be quite convenient. We had an issue with the curtain in our room and it was fixed while we were out. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and efficient maintenance service. If I want to micro-pick then it would be on checking out …..there is no dedicated queue for that (or maybe I miss the sign? ) so I had to queue with the check-in guests as well. Luckily not many guests were checking in at that time so manage to check out in 15 minutes.

Great hotel with convenient access. Has all the amenities necessary for rest and recovery before and after a long flight. Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit to experience the awesome swimming pool on the 3rd floor.
We had almost 13 hours before our next flight so we chose to stay at the Crowne Plaza due to its location at the airport. We were happy with the stay; the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. We did not use the pool nor the gym but would have loved to. Hopefully we will have more time the next time.

Beautiful hotel. Very easy to get in from T3 and from here an easy walk to the Jewel. If you use grab taxi they have a hard time to find the lobby but they get there eventually. The swimming pool is amazing. You really can cool down in it. It’s not that warm as other pools.
It was too expensive to change our flight to Tokyo from Singapore to Bangkok! We had to fly to Singapore for one night only because I booked our exit flight from Singapore four months ago and I’ve made several changes to our itinerary!
Singapore is just too small and too expensive where none of the 5 star hotels had decent reviews for under $250US!
This hotel is located at the airport near Terminal 1 & 2! A bit far if you flew into terminal four like we did!
There’s only one elevator to the rooms and if your room was on the opposite side, it’s a long walk around the entire floor!
The hotels and rooms are a bit dated! No USB on any of the outlets except for two on the pier table alarm clock! The bed was extremely uncomfortable to a point I could not sleep!
This is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in during my four month travel through 5 countries and 11 hotels!
Well, we didn’t have a choice but to pay the $300 a night to shower and can’t fall asleep bed for 3 hours!
Now I understand why there was so many people sleeping at the airport!
I won’t have to worry about this place because I’m never coming back to Singapore!

Probably my favorite airport hotel in the world – very pricey for an airport hotel but just about worth it. It’s convenient for Changi arrivals and departures, as well as for the MRT and Jewel. There was some flexibility in checking out before a late night flight (but be prepared to pay extra). The pool and gym are very nice. The rooms are magnificent, especially the bathrooms, and the air conditioning is great. I’d absolutely stay here again, especially if only in Singapore for one or two nights.

He was understanding when we required support with our special surprise plan for our friend who is pregnant! Even on the call that I made prior to visit, Mr Safri was super cheery and it definitely added up to my excitement for our stay!

We had a 12 hr layover in Singapore, we originally looked at the transit hotels in T3 but the rooms are 10sqm so fairly small to spend all day and limited facilities. We decided to book into Crown Plaza using their 8 hr day rate, its still located in Changi T3 but you just need to clear customs. However you are rewarded with 25sqm smart room with bath tub, room service options from restaurant and a POOL to make the hours go faster. We felt like we spent a whole night here, went back to the airport feeling refreshed & ready for second leg.
Strong smell of damp in our room in the Jewel wing as others have noted. Have previously stayed here many times leaving great reviews but to have rooms with such a strong damp smell (it really was very strong and I suspect unhealthy) is really unacceptable for a hotel at this price and level. They should close those rooms until whatever the issue is can be fixed.
The hotel is landside (you clear security if arriving or before security for departures) in T3. Accessible by skytrain from T1 and T2 or on foot from T3. It’s also connected to the Jewel shopping centre with a short walk.
Whilst there is much to love about this hotel and we have reviewed it positively in the past to be allocating severely damp rooms to people (who could even have health issues made worse by damp) in a 5 star hotel really is terrible.
Fix it and stop selling the rooms until you do.
The Crown Plaza Changi ( original wing ) has a very unique hotel experience to offer to it’s guests with good sized comfortable rooms , with most rooms having Runway views , great pool design, impeccable cleanliness and a very organised feel.
Perfect, walked from airport. Staff so thoughtful and kind. Delighted with hotel and I haven’t been to swimming pool yet! We are underway to Australia, it’s so wonderful to break the journey here.
We stayed in a day room as we were headed out on vacation and overnight on the return. These rooms are luxurious, soaking tubs, hot showers, robes. COmfortable bed, quiet. The hotel is safe, you cannot access the elevator without your room card. The entrance is right in terminal 3, you don’ t walk out of the airport. HIghly recommend
