Strategically located MRT as it is an interchange station on the North South Line (NSL) and East West Line (EWL). Besides that, there are tons of malls connected to it including Raffles City, Capitol Singapore and Funan making it a very busy MRT station.

City Hall MRT is the most loved station. Here is very convenient to transfer between NSL and EWL by just walking across the platform. EWL towards Outram cross the platform to NSL up North towards Jurong East.
City Hall station is very central and conveniently leads to
Raffles City Shopping Mall, Raffles Hotel, Bras Basah,
Beach Road, The Cathedral, Funan, Peninsula and bus stops to various other places.

Locating below the St. Andrew Church, this underground station is one of the most busiest MRT station in Singapore which can access the city central area. It has a link to City Link underground shopping mall, Raffel’s City tower and Capitol. Can access Suntec city and Marina Square via underground walk.

While it is one of thr busiest MRT stations it is also one of thr nost convenient, so that’s why I really like it. The East West Line and the North South line come together here to make it an essential crossroads for business people, hotel guests, shoppers and hungry folks alike. The station has very clearly marked signage, right down to the floor where you stand to get into the trains. Very useful at super busy times!

City Hall MRT is a nice place and shopping center. Just after the City Hall Metro station there is a long sub way which is a luxurious shopping place. This place is connected to Marina way, Esplanade etc. Just by getting down at City Hall Metro station one can reach at best places of Singapore such as Marina Bay, Esplanade, Garden by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Raffels tower etc.

The City Hall  in Singapore is a national monument gazetted on 14 February 1992. It can be found in front of historical Padang and adjacent to the Supreme Court of Singapore, it was designed and built by the architects of the municipal government, A. Gordans and F. D. Meadowsfrom 1926 to 1929. A flight of stairs takes visitors from the Corinthian colonnade to the main building. The building was constructed to replace several houses designed by architect G.D. Coleman. It was first known as Municipal Building until 1951 when Singapore was granted city status by King George VI.

Sometimes when I come down from Orchard during peak periods, and cross over to the East West line. The queue can be shockingly long. And I have to wait for 2-3 trains before I can finally get on board.
