A great place to race then chill. . .
Breezy seaside views, and good food
Ambience was amazing! Service and food were great!
Awesome place to catch sunset …
great view and nice breeze and a nice beach
Good food. Nice ambience. Knowledgeable and friendly staff
The club is really good, great facilities and a very nice view over the ocean. Good food and drink at a good price. Large swimming pool great for the kids.
Great restaurant. Food consistently top value. Been here many times over last ten years never once let down or disappointed.
One of the best locations in Singapore for outside dining and an after dinner digestive walk. Food is good and inexpensive, restaurant overlooking the straits and passing sailing and cargo boats give an extra scene. Breezy place most of the time!
Very nice sailing club and good food
Had a lovely meal at Coachman Inn Restaurant within the Club. Great view of the sea. Decent food. Worth checking out.
Absolutely love the Changi sailing club. Beautiful scenery. Fall in love with it each time I’m here.
Above average food quality & service. Very convenient parking. A very relaxing place to have a meal or a drink facing the sea. Also secluded & not busy most of the time.
Wonderful ambiance. So breezy and relaxing. Feels like you’ve been transported to a tropical paradise.
It reminds me of Clacton Sailing Club but the facilities are better.
Love it. Great food. Very reasonable prices. Lovely setting.
Nice place to see sunset …
Great location, just need to live up to it. For a club with a public restaurant, expensive. Prices on wine Etc not realistic… There are 5 stars that are cheaper. Hasn’t changed in 20 years, needs to catch up with the times… Missing the boat. No pun intended.
It has the best location in Singapore and probably the only natural beach. It’s nicely tucked away far from crowds. Five stars on the location and vista. The club grounds are untidy and need a big clean up, that’s the three stars.
One of our favourite spot in the little red dot – relax beachside establishment, great view especially for sunsets. Ideal place to relax with the family or socialise with friends and guests from abroad. Casual atmosphere, great facilities, friendly and professional service from the sailing club staff. The club events for members (and guests) are regular and run very well. Great F&B options (nice cold beer in jugs!); the bar service is very good especially from the usual bar staff. The on-site restaurant is good, we love the local food options. We love coming to CSC, always a positive experience when we go there.
Nice view and readonable price menu
Super nice ambience with sea front, good service and foods.
Nice relaxing view.
The restaurant over see the sea n when the wind blows the can listen to the rattling sound of the coconut leave. In the evening the cast of dawn till the darkness of the sea.
Best place to relax and watch the sea
Beautiful place & good food …
Good food, friendly service and not too crowded. A view of the sea is another plus point. BBQ seafood is fresh and tasty. You can order local zhicha which is off the menu. Curry fish head is good too. Ample parking.
Nice seaview n the food is good
Great views, great membership packages, great rentals and great service!
Nice place for both sunrise and sunset. It is east of Singapore so sunrise is better.
Love that place to chill end of day, even to get a drink with friend. Very windy and enjoyable place for sailors.
Great place to unwind and beach fishing
My dining experience at the Changi Sailing Club was great 🙂
Seated at a dining table facing the beautiful sunset view of Changi Beach…. enjoyed the yummy food served by friendly staff who came by a few times to ensure everything is alright.
The only “not so ideal” thing is the commuting part…. Best if you have car so you drive straight into their premises and park at whichever lot you like :D…. Otherwise you have to take bus and walk a little….
Good fishing spot.
Sad to hear Coachman Inn had ceased operations but delighted to know Georges had taken over the space. Great service! Friendly and attentive staff
The place looks the same as before. Menu also fusion style – chinese and western. We ordered tze char dishes like tofu, veg, cereal chicken, fried beef and sweet sour pork (photos taken after we started eating). Nice! Will visit again with friends.
Food as good as the awrsome view! On our day, there was a large vessel carrying 3 piles of sand sailing through.
Great but expensive unless you’re a government official
Part of Changi Boardwalk. Part of it still under maintenance till Jun 2022
Nice scenary
Hidden gem in Singapore if you need to switch off from city buzz
The curry was reasonably priced and delicious.
Nice place for stroll and enjoy the sea view.
I sometimes go there for lunch on weekdays. Nice relaxing sea view. Food is good, and reasonably priced. A good spot in Changi village area.
Great food, nice view of the sea and reasonable price.
Beautiful spot, great food reasonable prices
Great setting, good service, reasonably priced
Nice place…for those driving will be good
Love this place Great views and good food
The food was very good, lovely location.
A cosy place for a meet-up with friends.
Awesome place to have lunch~
Lunch – we were in the area, decided to try the Sailing club restaurant for lunch. Extensive menu, good quality & healthy portions. And the view overlooking the water is fantastic. Definitely be back.
Even if you don’t sail it’s a wonderfully idyllic spot. Sea breeze and fresh air, a nice little cafe and restaurant. Find a friend who is a member to take you out!
nice food and i just love the view over there….
Best scenery in Singapore best in the morning or in the evening when it is quiet .
Good food, good view
Great place to chill & dine, restaurant prices r moderate just like chichar store price but slightly higher being compensated by good sea view! Always book early to avoid disappointment at weekends, however, you can always go for the ground floor open air scenery! Staff r polite n friendly!
Peaceful and serene. Lovely setting. Cosy function rooms.
Nice place to visit at night
A hidden place so scenic with a good view for lunch or dinner. Unfortunately the Coachman Inn Restaurant will be ceased the operation on 22 Dec 2022.
Food was over priced. Atmosphere was ok, lots of mosquitos
Narrow access to Club. No wheel chair accesd
Nice
Beautiful location rooms are great
Was at Seafix Restaurant for lunch. Steamed Sea Bass HK style and Fragrance Chicken were excellent. The unique on-the-water ambiance was unmatched in Singapore.
Ambience is great. Food is mediocre. Price is quite expensive.
I might be partial towards thisnplace only because i absolutely love it. The food the ambience the location the service all add to its charm. And for all of that it comes in well on pricing. A must visit in Singapore
The oldest sailing club in Singapore, still great for sailing but showing signs of age. The swimming pool area is a pleasant spot to relax and the food is acceptable. It’s also well suited for families with kids. However, there’s not much to do besides sailing because the beach is very dirty (lots of trash is brought to the shore, since the club faces a shipping canal) and there aren’t other facilities besides the pool
Good food, got swimming pool
Enjoyed the breeze, view, food, friendly Staff of Coachman Inn Restaurant. The best part was the company of beloved friends over lunch on Valentine’s Day 14 Feb 2021.
Quaint, private club by the beach, but with a public restaurant. Location is little hard to get to. Nice boardwalks along the beach which will links up to Changi Village.
Love the first experience with CSC for their adult dingy sailing class. It’s such a great environment with highly motivated teacher Choi and love the fact that we could wind down after the class with a view and some drinks.
Beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning of race day during Singapore Regatta 2022
Great ambience and delicious food. Surprisingly not crowded for a Saturday afternoon.
Come here and dine with the sea view.
Jammed packed today for lunch, and at least about 10 people in the queue. Always nice fried seafood Bee Hoon. Good & attentive service.
Didn’t really stay to use the facilities but it seems quite nice with a great view towards Palau Ubin. No jetty to berth the boat just mooring points.
Fantastic sailing club
Nice romantic place from setting sun to a wonderful night.
Private club but public are able to get paid car parking. The club happens to be at the halfway point of the Changi seaside boardwalk and there is access to the beach as well.
Nice view and reasonable price
Breezy cool setting
Nice ambience…especially at night.
Will be back to sample different dishes
One is many highlights of my visit to Singapore! We enjoyed a nice meal here and a tour of the facilities. They were very friendly to visiting sailors. This was an excellent place for lunch and a great starting point for a long stroll along the waterfront pathway.
The restaurant is a hidden gem but the security should know that the broadwalk doesn’t belong to the club, we told him we wanted to go to the broadwalk, he said cannot, it belongs to the club. Zzzzz
Nice and windy place! However service can be rather slow. Food wise it is not very impressive… quality and portion could have been greater for the kind of price im paying….
Very relaxing and nice place to see sunset.
Very nice place …
Lovely ambience and unexpectedly pretty good Chinese dishes .
Beef hor fun was full of wok hei and the garlic crispy chicken was crisp and moist.
A tze char haven.
Prices are reasonable too.
Recommended dishes :
Salted egg crispy lotus root appetiser
Grilled whole snapper with garlic caper sauce
Curry fish head
Hainanese pork chops
Skip the western cuisine and dive straight into the Chinese food category.
nice place for sailing and a cold beer.
Very secluded area but the view is lovely…kinda sad though with the current climate much activities have been put on hold indefinately but stay positive and maybe we may be able to enjoy again like it was before.
Beautiful seaside with lots of flowers.
Consistently good food and great service.
Affordable local & Western meals with great ambience and sea view
Nice place to unwind especially when the weather is good too
Very welcoming club, I was guest of a member. Great pool, change rooms, excellent dining, helpful staff.
Good place to come to visit. Relaxing and with acceptable restaurant.
Members Club. If you want to feel like you’re in Bali or another tropical holiday resort, this is a great place to relax next to the pool and beach. The main restaurant is open to the public with food at a reasonable price.
Awesome location, great food! Had a really decent lunch here while sheltering from the rain. Reaaonable prices and great views
Oh My God..it was all about wow and breathtaking..feel so blessed to witnessed nature at it’s best out there…Wish i could go there frequently……..salute to Changi Sailing club..
Secluded, peaceful, away from modern noise, great place to relax.
Great view, good food, good service. What’s not to like?
Something about this place I loved! Food was great and service similar, great atmosphere
Nice place where I attained my PPCDL course
Great location.. Awesome scenery. Beautiful day and relaxing at here .. came for dinner and enjoyed sunsets…highly recommended
Nice place for sunset
The seafood here is pretty good and its price reasonable. Thereafter, a nice walk will sum up a good evening.
I love the sunset here
Good ambience…food can improve…
Really good menu local and British also kids menu. Staff friendly and very attentive . This was a taste of Singapore of the real singapore
everything looks old but it’s still in good condition. the food are not bad at all. see a lot of people goes there to enjoy and have fun at the Changi sailing club
Best place around changi beach. Good food and great view
Love visiting this place, friendly, accommodating service, clean facilities, good food and cold drinks.
Comfortable atmosphere, nice view to the sea of strait!
Great food, good view and a cool breeze. Nice quiet relaxed location for lunch.
Love the local food at the restaurant here, and amazing location
The club has a nice beachfront which faces the island of Ubin.
Friendly service. Sunset view. …
…Ilove this place of beautiful and surprising view depends on the weather and season…and Friendly people around 🙂
Amazing view, lovely food and awesome company for a perfect weekend getaway!! Lotus crackers and fragrant chicken are a must must have on the table!! Cheers!!
Nice place to watch sunset. Restaurant is nice too.
The hainanese pork chop is fantastic… Beansprouts with crispy salted fish bits, bee hoon were excellent
Delicious food. Can be quite crowded.
Nice place to chillax
Rustic and wonderful.
have a cocktail at Coachman Inn, all d staffs there are wonderful!
Very rustic and beautiful with amazing views.
Nice food with good atmosphere
Awesome scenery. Beautiful day.
Nice restaurant by the sea overlooking sailing boats. Food is not bad and they offer eastern and western options.
Wonderful ambience. The view from the restaurant is amazing and it is next to the beach. Multiple food options, especially sea food. Loved the honey lemon chicken and fresh coconut water. Chicken curry with rice was the usual. Sea food fried rice was quite nice also.
Nice spot for something to eat and a few drinks overlooking the marina (sort of). Food was really good, fairly priced and the beer was exceptional, a couple of gins to finish off too! Staff are good and kept the drinks flowing throughout the night, will go back here again, recommended visit if your in the area too.
Excellent place to watch sunset. A short stroll from Changi village
A nice break between 2 flights. Looks like being on vacation…
Close to the airport.
Have a drink and more while watching on the seaside. Friendly staff.
A very quiet place for visiting and dinning. There is a broadwalk to explore along the coastline starting from the pier. But it seems that partial of the route/trail was blocked and closed.
Great service, lovely food and an excellent location…
Nice place for kids to chill and relax…Great place to dine at Coahman Inn.
Nice place to relax and laze around. Wonder how much the membership fees.
Tranquil. Wonderful sun set with the yacht in the foreground.
Food is great. Try the fish head curry.
Great place to relax and listen to the waves on the beach while the kids go and sail..food is only so so..
A quiet nature resort compound good seaview
Favorite lunch place for my oversea colleagues. They love their sweet and sour pork much, but I like their curry chicken.
The view. The food is so so. But not bad. Just feels like home
Best sailing club in Singapore. Restaurant open too public dining. Great atmosphere.
Nice club, nice views, restaurant food is not bad, price is what one would expect for a restaurant slightly more than one would hope. The bulletin board for crew is a waste of time. I now only sail the races here. Getting here is by bus, taxi or car ….. no MRT. Changi village is nearby if one wants cheaper food and more range, only a 5-10 minute walk.
Good view, good food
Lovely beaches and scenery
Awesome place to hang out with family and friends on holidays. (Restricted to members only)
Great food, relaxing ambiance, attentive staff
So hard to believe you are in Singapore around all the boats and the trees. Great place to get a beer and a burger. Need to be with a member though.
Good place to chill out
Nothing fancy, just good old fashion western and local food.
Amazing view, lovely food and awesome company for a perfect weekend getaway!! Lotus crackers and fragrant chicken are a must must have on the table!! Cheers!!
Good place to chill but facilities are lacking
A little gem in Singapore. A little spot in Singapore where you feel you are away from Singapore. You can’t explain the magic. You just need to be here to feel the charm.
Great place to visit. Swimming pool and restaurant on site.
Try the Assam fish head curry at the coachman inn restaurant. Tasty!
Nice scenery
Beautiful but open air so no AC.
Lovely place! The sea water seem alot clearer as compared to other coastals in Singapore. Love the seaview with sail boats all around!
A breath of fresh air. Feels like a holiday in Indonesia
Great spot for lunch and sundowners.
Beef curry was delicious as was the cashew chicken.
The swimming pool is centrally located so its very safe for the kids to swim in
It needs a little renovation work done. Looks kinda rough or some might call it rustic.
Nice and shady location with pleasant breeze. Good for picnic
Lovely place for a relaxing Sunday with sailing on the ocean. Good food and friendly staff. The view is amazing and the atmosphere is lovely.
Nice to relax & refresh your body.
Nice rustic place. Just discover that coachman Inn restaurant is there.
Just loved being here
It’s location is great…. the restaurant upstairs is one for public. But if u r a member u actually get to sit at the beach level n enjoy.
Nice food, great ambience and good music!
Serene tranquil peace away from the bustling cityscape of Singapore
My all time favorite place to dine at the Coachman Inn restaurent loacated inside the club with a stunning view of the sea.
Great place to linger around over the weekends
Best sailing club in Singapore – SAILORS ONLY!
Lovely location with good food at coachmen Inn. Didn’t even know such a place existed. the beach may be small but the waters are rather clear and green
Good place to view sunset
Sad to hear Coachman Inn had ceased operations but delighted to know Georges had taken over the space. Great service! Friendly and attentive staff
The place looks the same as before. Menu also fusion style – chinese and western. We ordered tze char dishes like tofu, veg, cereal chicken, fried beef and sweet sour pork (photos taken after we started eating). Nice! Will visit again with friends.
Nice food ambience n service.
Love this place – member since living in singapore and best spot to relax
Such a laid back place. Took the 2 weekend sailing course, really enjoyed it, learned a ton and loved grabbing lunch and a drink everyday at the restaurant by the pool. If we lived closer, could see it being a much more regular spot for family time
Check out the amazing sunset here
A hidden place so scenic with a good view for lunch or dinner. Unfortunately the Coachman Inn Restaurant will be ceased the operation on 22 Dec 2022.
Chill. Relaxing.
A very relaxing stroll seaside view quiet and peaceful and a real good nature environment
Amazing getaway, makes you forget that you’re in Singapore.
18th Ambassadors’ Cup!!! An experience!!!!
This is a very popular watering hole. Former Coachman’s Inn, it is now the Seafix Restaurant of the Changi Sailing Club. All are welcome. Packed on holidays and on weekends. Cheery staff in colourful Hawaiian shirts. The menu is western and local. The ambience is unique as the restaurant is right on the beach opposite Pulau Ubin.
Definitely worth a visit. And another.
Beautiful marina for sailboats. Located in a very peaceful corner of the North-East Coast of Singapore. Met a client there to deliver boat spares he bought from me. There’s a sizeable swimming pool and restaurant with a nice sea view. Very breezy there too which makes the Singapore heat more bearable. It’s also a 15min walk to Changi Village via the Changi Boardwalk trail. Very scenic walk along the coast. Would recommend coming here to enjoy a meal with the rising/setting sun
Nice place for members. Public also could enter restaurant and beach area.
Nice place for lunch and dinner, with good choice of both Western and Asian kitchen. Its British Colonial ambiance is very charming. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Amazing view on the sea. It’s a must.
One of the BEST places is SG to have a meal whilst enjoying the SEA VIEW.
Enjoy the nice breeze as you have your dinner at the restaurant. The Chinese food is very homely and rnjoyable esp the Hainanese porkchop. The steps going up the restaurant are not for the immobile/elderly who have difficulty walking up and down.
Delicious foods and nice views.
Beautiful place nice views facing the sea n restaurant for the public
Changi sailing club is situated on the north east coastline of Singapore. The drinks menu and atmosphere is great with a huge selection. Downsides of the place are beverages and meals being expensive and meals not being top quality. Overall we had a decent experience.
Went to the sailing club to eat lunch, friend recommended to try the Chinese horfun dry style.. wow! It was really good! The chef there really knows how to whip up a good hor fun! The “wok hei” or fragrance of the wok permeated the entire dish and you can tell the chef really knows how to cook his hor fun well!
The fish and chips were excellent as well however the hor fun stole the limelight. So.. highly recommended hor fun!
Nice place to explore, walk and jog and they have a restaurant now that open to the public.
Bad customer service – seems to be holding a exclusive culture rather than an inclusive culture.
Lovely ambience and the restaurant food is decent and affordable.
Lovely beach
Suitable for all ages, ideally great for picnicking, hiking, leisure walk, wakeboarding, fishing . Awesome spot for chillax
Good
Very rustic atmosphere. Throws us back to the late 70s. Corkage charge for Coachman Inn restaurant is $15.
It’s a private sailing club for members to enjoy the facilities but only the restaurant is open to public. Membership is with a one time entrance fee and then with monthly subscription fees. It’s the only sailing club in Singapore that offers Swing mooring for sail boats. The mooring fees are probably the lowest in Singapore for a sailboat but the waters here come with the fastest and highest rate of marine growth on the boat hull. Weekly hull wipe downs are necessary to prevent marine growth from accumulating.
The club has a small swimming pool. They organise regatta (sailing races) during the windy seasons (towards the end of the year)
Most active cruising and racing club in Singapore. Organises cruises to nearby islands and regular weekly races. CSC has a regular training programme for people looking to learn how to sail dinghies or yachts. It also has a very friendly social scene and great staff. Singapore’s best kept secret
One of my Favourite yacht club. Generally good service but don’t expect much if u are not a member. Their restaurant is opened to the public and the parking rates are decent with charges similar to public rates. Nice view of the straits and many idle sailing yachts. Catch bumboats going to and from from Changi Jetty to Pulau Ubin and back. Recently renewed their lease to continue operating the club for another 3 years.
Came here to have lunch. Food is good n the restaurant have great sea view.
Peaceful place …
Good Western food at reasonable prices. Lovely dining area overlooking Johor Straits across to Pulau Ubin. Really hope they don’t “develop” this place. It’s perfect as it is.
Low key, mostly people who truly enjoy sailing, lovely location, not trying to be fancy, good food for good prices, range of boats available to charter, away from the main ship traffic
Singapore’s best kept secret…there; it’s out now
Fantastic place
Great and awesome place to learn to sale extremely friendly staff definitely come down and check it out
The restaurant inside of the Changi Sailing Club offering two levels of seating: outside (base level) and inside( first level). It’s a real chilly & cool lunch spot. It really let you feel like you are in vacation @ holiday island! So so nice, you immidiately feels relax. The menue on the first page offers seasonal fresh seafood, so you really struggle to order. The fantastic view to Pulau Ubin, in between some palm trees and those little sailing boats cruising around. The waiter was friendly, attentive and gives us correct and helpful advices. It’s a secret little spot, so please don’t go there! 🙂
Love d beach here mostly I went for fishing n casting net..lots kind of fishes u can get n water r clear n clean
I wasn’t at the club but near the club vicinity. Walking together with my wife along the shore watching the beauty of the morning scenery
didn’t get to sail but FELL INTO THE WATERS
Brilliant service, lovely environment, makes you feel like your in the tropics
sailing, and the restaurant is nice
One of the best hawkers around. Just try everything
Silent and good for rest within your holidays…
if you want to escape the city in this city this is one of place, good food, relaxed sailing, friendly staff
Changi Sailing Club is a nice sailing and yacht club located at the eastern end of Singapore. It is also the place to go for Sailing courses in Singapore. Access to many Seafood restaurants in Singapore too.
Nice place ,,beautiful view..
Million dollar view, and wonderful food, great Service
Had nice lunch.
Good place to relax and chill!
decent food, good view, downside it can get abit hot
