Was here to photograph some pictures of Airshow 2022. There were static displays of air planes and flying displays every day. No public access. Shuttle busses are provided at $10 per trip from Expo and Changi Exhibition Centre through an APP.
Only came here a few years back for a new balance run. Great environment and place to gather up all the runners.
The road leading to CEC from Xilin Ave, would recommend to make the middle concrete divider to tarmac road with lines or removable dividers. Reason being for events like the recent Airshow 2018, there were only 3 lanes going towards CEC (one diverting to Changi Village, one for normal vehicles/taxi going to CEC and the VIP lane was always blocked by other vehicles, delaying delegates going to CEC) while the lanes going towards Xilin Ave was quite empty. Might as well use removable or temporary dividers to adjust the lanes for use according to the event and timings.
Spacious big exhibition halls. Adequate and clean washrooms. Parking was expensive.
Very inaccessible. But at least there is free parking. Pls bring an umbrella as there is insufficient shelter

It’s a out of area to city and its calm and clear
Massive structures. Excellent arrangements to transport the visitors to and fro at the time of the air show. However, the crowd control barricades were far too lengthy, which was certainly not called for. One had to walk thru miles of barricaded paths to reach the boarding point which was barely a hundred meters away.

Same like Singapore expo, except it more isolated and inconvenient
A massive place and perfectly suited for exhibitions, specifically car/aircraft. For Singapore Airshow 2018, it was managed really nicely as well. You first go to expo hall7 and then take a shuttle bus (to-and-fro included with ticket) that’s takes you directly to Changi exhibition centre (CEC). Organizers had plenty food options as well (though really overpriced. Almost 3x price). The only short one I saw was very less seating capacity..actually almost nill.
The Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) (Chinese: 樟宜会展中心) is a convention center in Singapore located on a plot of land just beyond the northern edge perimeter fencing of the new Changi Air Base (East). Purpose-built to host the Asian Aerospace, disagreements with co-show organiser Reed Exhibitions led to Asian Aerospace pulling out in 2007. The Singapore event was rebranded as the Singapore Airshow and has been held at the venue since 2008.

The CEC is built on a 30-hectare site off Aviation Park Road, on reclaimed land to cater for future expansion of Singapore Changi Airport. Aviation Park Road, a new service road built to serve the site, branches off from Changi Coast Road and is specially built to also double-up as a taxiway linking the site with the runway at Changi Air Base (East). This provision allows exhibition aircraft to arrive and depart without disrupting operations in Changi Airport.
The fully air-conditioned exhibition hall itself has a total gross floor area of 42,500 m2,[1] spread over three halls on the first floor and a small mezzanine floor. The three main exhibition halls has a continuous H-shaped layout which can be segregated, and includes halls 1A (17,300 m2), 1B (3,200 m2) and 1C (17,000 m2) for a total of 33,340 m2 of space. Nine function rooms ranging in size from 65 m2 to 330 m2 are located within Hall 1A, covering a total of 1,753 m2. The mezzanine floor offers an additional 5,000 m2 of space.
The outdoor exhibition space[2] includes a front plaza measuring 298 by 94 metres in size, and an outdoor display area 355 by 259 metres in size, both of which are located adjacent to the exhibition hall. Outdoor exhibition chalets are located along the waterfront beside the outdoor display area. In all, 100,000 m2[3]of outdoor exhibition space is available, equivalent to 33 soccer fields and can house ten Boeing 747s at a time.[4]

Visited this place for both the 2018 and 2016 Singapore Air Shows. Very large place to hold such mega events. Indoor place is spacious, however the outdoor open area is void of shade or trees so it is terrible to be there on a sunny day !!!

Singapore Airshow exhibition site. Well organized and strategically located near the airport, open skies for the acrobatic display. The static display of civilian and military aircrafts always attract the crowd especially those which made fighters or helicopter cockpit available for the visitor. Inside the exhibition, there are enough displays of new technology and information to keep you busy. For the souvenir hunters, there are always some interesting give always from the exhibitors. Only downside is it’s far from the city and the route to the site takes additional 20 minutes.

Difficult to get a taxi after exhibition
This place is quite remote. But thankfully the exhibition organiser usually provides buses to the event venue. It’s near the sea so expect strong winds. And usually the halls are space apart, so it’s recommended to have small umbrella in case of bad weather. The recent Shell’s ‘Make the Future Singapore’ exhibition takes cares of their visitors well by providing each one with an umbrella, that is commendable indeed!

Visit Singapore Airshow for the first time in 2018, and I’ve been to Langkawi LIMA. I thought this must be much bigger since it’s called Asia’s largest airshow, but pretty much the same. But still, a lot of activities to attend to, one day never enough. Trade days already packed with people, can’t imagine how’s public days going.
Only minus point is no public buses here. Only way is by car or taxi.

Very good organized Exhibition Centre for Singapore Airshow. The Airshow is one of the biggest in Asia and this year without public days. But it’s good to have the exhibition again and stay in Singapore for a view days.
As always, there is nothing unorganized or unplanned thing. Everywhere are signs and informations. Security, health check and traffic control everywhere, but still optimized. No long waiting lines and at the end, really good for exhibitors and the clients.
Look forward to see Singapore and the Airshow in 2024 again!

Excellent place for watching air shows. It’s an open area so be sure to bring hat, sunglasses and sunblock.
Currently there are road closures at night from now till 21 Feb from 8.30pm till 6 am the following day near the location. The affected roads are Aviation Park Road, Changi Coast road near to Changi Ferry Terminal, Tanah Merah Coast Road near to the Changi Naval Base. When driving pass the above affected roads, the guards there are very friendly and even gave me physical cards to navigate around using alternative roads to get to my location.
The Changi Exhibition centre is situated at Changi Coast Road and one of the largest exhibition centre worldwide. It is spread over 30 hectares. It is really very spacious and beautiful architecture. It is in 100,000sqm indoor space. The conference hall is really very big and best for any conference or event. The staffs and security guards are very friendly and polite. You can also find a large parking area here. The whole area is neat and clean. If you attend any event here then must use viaOTP platform to exchange contacts or business cards with others. You can exchange contacts with others in a few seconds. Just google viaOTP. Signup there and you are ready to exchange contacts in seconds. You can also find various hotels and tourists place near this area.
The place where Singapore Airshow takes place. Nice big cool venue. Just take note the transport could be a challenge with road closure and long route. Easiest is to take shuttle bus. No public viewing in 2022.

Was here for the airshow. It has a nice big open space beside the sea for exhibitions and trade shows. Feels pretty relaxing since its one of the few places in Singapore where you don’t see giant skyscrapers everywhere.

I was there for Singapore Airshow 2018. Although it is kinda difficult to get to this place, the long journey ride is worthwhile when you are attending international event such as Airshow. The cleanliness of the place is well kept. However, the heat at this area might be a turn off. You might like to bring an umbrella or portable fan if the exhibition is majority outdoor. Security might be tight, hence do obey the rules & regulations stated on the tickets or you might be rejected to enter the exhibition area.

It is so nice
It’s in the middle of nowhere so getting to and from here can be a nightmare. I am writing mainly in the context of large scale concerts that are sometimes held here. I imagine some of the same problems must arise for large scale conventions such as the Singapore Air Show. When you have large crowds of people here expect turmoil when people want to leave and queues of more than 2 hours for a taxi.
Nice well organised exhibition and convention venue. Hosts the Singapore Air show every alternate year. A bit of a distance from the city centre but once you’re there via excellent transport connections , one can feel the “quality” of a good venue.
New experiences about aviation
place is too big and travelling to there really takes time. the time from Loyang Avenue to Exhibition Centre is similar to the time took travelling from Airport to City. But love the wind n overlook of the seaview.
Its good but felt like it was more for uppity people , a lot of concepts shown felt out of reach for the average person.

Great set up, was here for the Singapore Air show. From start to finish we had no issue.
After security check there was a continuous stream of buses ferrying people to and from the exhibition centre.
Plenty of food stalls and drink areas.
Staff were polite and plenty of announcements and safety alerts throughout the day. Not a great load of shaded area to hide from the sun unless you go indoors. Viewing area upstairs was free when you purchased a drink, which is handy, as everyone was buying water anyway.

Wonderful place. An exquisite feeling to be far away from the busty city life. You will enjoy a lot if you visit this place whether airshow or any other exhibition. For the first time I had been there in the Singapore Air Show 2018. I have seen many new privet jet, chopper, fighter jet and so more. It was a great fun there. While you attempt to go back you will be amazed with the manufacturer and producers of aeronotical things in the inside of exhibition hall. Overall it was a mesmerising experience.

Please do note that if you going the ice cream prices are better when you have a group to purchase with you. The pricing is gonna be painful as listed , cab – $12 dollar surcharge uber/grab – uber will not be able to access that area and grab wont accept you because of the surcharge so your only cheap option is the shuttle bus which will cause you $8 SGD for a trip to EXPO convention hall. So dont miss the chance for this year’s airshow if you havent been to one before! There are some freebis to look out for from the RSAF booth too !

Not an easily accessible site unless you have your own transport. But once you get there, it has the space for any events you have in mind.
