Near the Bukit Gombak mrt station. It’s a small market selling fresh vegetables, fruits, chicken, pork, fish, prawns, fish balls…..But the floors are not kept dry so a little slippery near the fresh seafood stalls.

Although there are a few coffee shops around and many foods stalls. But the the food are not cheap. The so-call coffee shops are just like a food court, the price of the foods are the same or even higher than air-condition food court in shopping mall. Some of the things there are not really cheap, except one of the”Value shop”.

Within walking distance to MRT station. Right at the mrt station is a Gym. And just across the mrt station is a centralized one-stop centre where there is the wet market, 2 supermarkets (Prime and Giant which both are 24/7), 2 food centres, fastfood McDonald and the small convenience shops whereby the prices of stuff are lower than those in the central. There is the Dazhong, Lian Hua Primary Schools and Hillgrove, Swiss Cottage Sec Schools within the vicinity. The Bukit Batok Driving Centre is conveniently located there too. One may even walk to the Westmall Shopping Centre where you can hop in for a movie or simply drop into the library or if you have need for the Post Office and there are more eateries there as well as the POSB, UOB and OCBC banks. Extremely convenient neighbourhood, quiet and tranquil with nature in surroundings. Thumbs-up for this neighbourhood.

Good to see the conventional shop House and coffee shop setting . This give a warm feeling compared to the newer residential place which is mostly concrete and not much space between the HDBs compared to this older residential estate. Hope that we can maintain the older estate neighborhood setting which can also see the residents are much more connected and also corners that allow the senior residents to feel comfortable and sense of belonging too .
