Ambience nice. If only they can totally make it a non smoking area. They are enforcing it. There is still some smokers who would still sit down and smoke and let others who non smoker to breathe in the second hand smoke.

An iconic spot, Bhai Sarbat is by far the best chai you can get here. Every sip of the teh halia and teh masala mirror the taste of chai served in the bylanes of old Lucknow or even old Delhi. The teh tarik is equally enticing.

Though the chai obviously stands out, this spot has got the BEST SAMOSA in Singapore. A MUST TRY WITH YOUR CUP OF CHAI.

Had their Teh Halia that’s apparently one of the teas that they’re known for.

The teh halia was good but definitely not the “best in Singapore”. It had a good consistency with a good mix but I have had better tea Halias elsewhere with a much better gingery essence in it. It’s a very bold overstatement to claim that the tea served here is the best we can find in Singapore.

If I am in the area, sure I’ll choose this place to have my tea fix. I won’t go out of my way to have the tea here.

It is a famous shop on Arab Street. I liked this MASALA and went there twice, but unfortunately I was ripped off both times…The price listed on the menu is $1.60, but I actually paid $1.60. The first is $2.30 and the second is $2.70. I didn’t have a receipt and I couldn’t speak English, so I had no choice but to pay. The taste is outstandingly delicious, but please be careful if you go because it seems to rip off people.

Great small cafe located at the corner of Pahang St. and Muscat St. A must go place. The owner is a cool guy and very hospitable. I drank tea (try Tea C) and cane juice here and man both were delicious. Tea is just out of this world, cane juice so refreshing. if I go back to Singapore, I am having my breakfast and tea at Bhai Sarbat! If you are in the area please go there and enjoy the delights.

I was very hesitating to comment on the negative aspect of this restaurant coz the service was pretty impressive. But I have to give some thoughts for the betterment. First the tea was superb, fantastic masalafied tea with intense flavors. But the food is nothing to be celebrated greatly. Ordered garlic butter naan, mutton keema, kebab and chicken korma. The kebab was expensive though we didn’t mind ordering but it was very bland and dry, seems like they forgotten to salt the pieces. $13 for that dish alone is not worthy. The chicken korma was good tasting but was served cold which doesn’t complement the taste at all. Other two dishes were normal. Some of the items we requested was not available. Overall abit disappointed.

Not as fantastic as last time. Teh tarik never “tarik”. The one making it just put tea in cup, milk accordingly then stir. Might as well call it ‘Teh Stir’. Teh tarik no tarik not nice la. Like no diff order teh or teh tarik. Miss the days where the dad “tarik” the drinks when I ordered tarik drinks.

When it comes to hanging out and catching up with your buddies, the obscure gem of a Teh stall is definitely one of the best place to be. Forget your overpriced hipster cafe drinks and food and embrace the local heritage and delicacy! Food from the opposite eatery will be served to your table despite being across a small road! Apart of the generous amount of sugar dunked into your drink, the Teh served would probably keep you well buzzed to carry on your conversation with your mates for hours.

A delicious milk tea shop. There are also coffee. I ordered a $1.9 cold.
Put something like condensed milk from canned food into tea, mix it on the spot, drop it from the top several times and whisk it and serve it. Maybe the taste will be milder. The condensed milk is added by eye, so the sweetness may vary. I felt it was a little sweet, but I think it has a rich flavor and is quite delicious. This was a quality that I couldn’t believe was $1.9.
