Wish that Bras Basah was directly linked to Bencoolen via an underground passageway. Would be more convenient.

The deepest platform, better use the elevator to go faster. If you are relaxed, you can enjoy some murals or art installations by local art schools

Platform terdalam, lebih baik menggunakan lift supaya lebih cepat. Jika santai bisa sambil menikmati beberapa mural ataupun instalasi seni karya sekolah seni sekitar

The MRT system is an efficient way to get around Singapore. If you purchase the EZ link card, then you spend less time messing around with single tix purchases. You must purchase the card with cash only from the booth. The card debits the fare as you go. You can top up using CC or cash at the self serve kiosk at every train station. Fares depend on length of travel. Can be used on the train and buses. Unbelieveably clean and very safe even late at night. Air conditioned stations and on the train. A brief respite from the sweltering heat above ground.

Subway station. Everything is clean and tidy, as everywhere in the Singapore subway. The station belongs to a relatively new branch. Nearby is a large educational institution, NAFA, a huge art school where adults and children study.

Станция метро. Все чисто и аккуратно, как везде в сингапурском метро. Станция относится к относительно новой ветке. Рядом большое учебное заведение, NAFA, огромная школа искусств, где учатся взрослые и дети.

Amazing! The Bencoolen mrt station boarding platform is the deepest in Singapore at 43m underground. That is equivalent to the height of a 13 storey HDB building. You can take the lift down to level B6 or take several escalator flights down to the boarding platform.

Deepest MRT station in Singapore, Bras Basah MRT station is a 2-minute walk from here, but for some reason there are no signs to point to it (you must exit at Exit C).

Beyond the fact that it’s extremely deep underground, and that you’ll need to take a few long flights of escalators, this is actually very brilliantly planned. It connects to SMU, NAFA, and other parts near the Middle Road stretch. You’re essentially right in the middle of town when you do alight, and you can quickly venture all around for your day’s activities.

I really like this place! Whilst the train platform is probably one of deepest underground, the walkways and connectors around the area especially around SMU have many cosy corners. If one wants to reflect on something or to be immersed in thoughts….this place would be ideal. Further, around the vicinity there are so many eateries n cafes. IT HAS ITS CHARMS!

Bencoolen MRT station is opened in the Singapore’s heart of art there are many aesthetic work around. Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) is right above at the MRT station. ESCAPE is well equipped fancy and designer ‍ interior provider, La’Salle School of Arts, SMU, Academy Theatre and many more. This MRT is built underground and You can get Train at level B6 which deep down. Going in and out Lift recommended over escalator. This downtown line connected from China town to Changi business park and covers many places.
