Sent in our order at 805pm, and one of the dish was a simple non-spicy mee goreng came in 45mins later. It was likely tht they wld have forgotten tht order, n only got to it when we asked the service person to check on it.

The service was bad 6 years ago when I last went. Sadly, nothing has changed. Never coming back again.

We visited the restaurant on 23/02/2020 (Sunday). Service is very prompt especially during dinner rush around 7 pm. My compliment goes to Mr Hadi who went the extra miles to assist my husband in choosing the menus (as my husband only eat seafood). The food are tasty but unfortunately, Tahu Telor was out of stock upon ordering our food on that evening!

Here the rice is scoped to individual needs. Server will ask if the rice is enough. Curry fish head of red snapper is more towards Assam fish type, spicy and sour. The fish dishes here are mostly red snappers, rest is pomfret and sea bass. Platter and Sambal kang kong is alright.

Bali – Thai Restaurant at Causeway Point. I was wondering what its menu was like. Does it offer both Indonesia n Thai food? My family n I decided to have our lunch there to find out. We ordered 4 items:
    * Olive fried rice. It had a good mixed of sweet, salty n savoury.
    * Belachan kang kong. It was aromatic n had deep flavour but not too pungent.
    * Red curry roast chicken. The curry taste was unique n slightly sweet with fresh grapes n longans in it.
    * Steamed pomfret. Its gravy was slightly spicy but tasty. The fish was fresh n was $18 only for its size.
Our conclusion is that this restaurant cuisine is a mix of Indonesia n Thai. The taste of its dishes is unique. Worth more visits.

Service is decent. Food was quite slow (we ate there on a Sunday at about 2pm). Ordered fried rice without spiciness for our kid but they served wrongly after a long wait and said it wasn’t spicy. So we had to taste it and returned it because it was spicy. Lol. The staff did not enter the details into the POS system so kitchen had to recook a dish.

We’re not fussy parents generally. The next plate of replacement fried rice came quite quickly. Thanks for the hard work.

I went on a busy friday night. Really good service at this place where the staff are really attentive. I noticed that the manager saw that we have not been served for some time after ordering and he went to get his staff to serve us asap. They also noticed that one of us did order a drink and automatically served some water. I wouldn’t say the food was authentic but it was good; a little on the pricey side, especially for seafood

This is a great restaurant located in the Causeway Point Woodlands Square Mall. This is truly where “Thairiffic meets Indolicious!” It is open until 10pm with last order at 9:30pm. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Very friendly staff. The prices for the food was really fair.

The service is usually good. But the staff are clearly overworked that if you go late after 9pm they do not have the energy. Food taste is also not consistent. Green curry is my standard order. Sometimes there is kafir leaves sometimes not. Sometimes it is watery sometimes thicker. So I guess there’s some churn in the cooks. Otherwise a nice place even if a bit on the expensive side at $10+ a dish to have ragi food in woodlands.

First time dining at Bali Thai and it was a good experience. Ordered a wide variety and majority of them were really good!

Nasi Istemewa was pretty good. It has a subtle flavour of sambal chilli in the Fried rice, and has a strong Indonesian flavour. I rate 4/5

Seafood Tom Kha soup Pot has a rich aroma of coconut milk, but not thick to the extent you’ll feel sick. Has 2 Prawns, 2 Mussels and a handful of white fish and squid. I rate 4/5

Pad Thai was a abit too dry for me, and lack of the charred thai wok flavour. I didnt appreciate that the prawns were diced. But the beancurd and raw beansprouts were aplenty. I rate 3/5

Nasi Goreng Petai, has a light aroma of Petai, but only 5 petai beans. Rice is fragrant and has a good amount of chicken cubes. A little oily for my preference. I rate 3/5

Ikan Assam Pedas was a hot favourite for my parents. It is tangy and lightly spicy, the asam was flavourful too. The fish was pretty big for $28. I rate 4/5

Serves complimentary water. Total bill came up to be $93.10

The downside in the quality of food & service seems to have been arrested and the restaurant may be back to serving some okay Thai food. The quality and quantity of the dishes is absolutely good. There’s free rice refills, the waiters/waitress were friendly. They would inform you if any dishes were sold out. I would suggest you to buy the Tahu Telor, as the dish was perfectly cooked. It’s crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. It’s the best Tahu Telor that I’ve ever eaten. Another tip is, DO NOT go during dinner time as it will get very crowded. Try to make sure your schedule is available for the timing between Lunch and Dinner. That’s all. Hope you enjoy the food!

The food is delightful and served quite quickly. They serve plain water too. However, the restaurant is expensive and the service should be a little better. Our fish was undercooked which we only realised after eating half of it. Instead of bringing a new fish or wavering the fish cost, the waiter brought the half eaten fish to be recooked.

Pricey & tom yam soup portion was small. Pineapple fried rice wasn’t served in pineapple and didn’t have much wok hei (lacked fragrance).
Nevertheless, tomyam soup tasted pretty good.

Trying Bali Thai after a long while on 15th Jul.

    Decent taste.
    Service was ok.

But be sure to act fast if the server is cleaning your dishes.
There’s still half of the food in the plate and the server wanted to clear it away luckily we stopped him.

Maybe he can asked if we still want it before trying to clear it.

Mix of mainly Thai and Indonesian dishes. Food is sweet as most Thai dishes are. Prices are also above average. Good place to bring tourist here to sample Thai food.

The taste is good, the price is reasonable, and the service attitude is . The Thai-style grilled fish is delicious, the meat is charred on the outside and tender on the inside, without peculiar smell or fishy smell.

Great food with excellent choices of seafood. Try their IKAN BAKAR! However, the staff is not very lively. Could almost feel that they’re dragging their feet.

Nice ambience, comfortable seats, good food, definitely one of the top choices when dining with family at Causeway Point!

Price point is slightly high, but it is expected when dining in a shopping mall. A nice mixture of Thai and Indonesian food, definitely one of the earliest players in the market.

Quality of food is maintained, staff working were nice and professional. Can give it a shot if you happen to pass by and unsure of what to eat!

Do not order indonesian/bali food here coz they are trying so hard to copy but failed. I came here for the thai menu like pamdan chicken ,thai fish cake ,tomyum and their dessert. And if you think tahu telor aka fried egg tofu is bali cuisine , thats totally wrong. It is betawi cuisine you should not put that in ur menu if u call ur place as balithai . U lead people to a misconception. Nasi campur bali aka bali mixed rice should be there. Betutu chicken not to be missed. Not rendang lololols. Balinese dont take rendang too serious, unless you r from other part of indonesia , padang. Owner should fly to bali to check on their authentic food

Sawadi kap. The food is always delicious. The staffs are polite & the services are good. Again thank you to the chefs for the delicious dishes. The dining area & restaurant is not big. Restaurant is airways full. Waiting & queuing for table sitting during this pandemic is normal. 100% Halal certified.
