We discovered this activity via Sparks app for couples to plan & book their date activities in Singapore. There are numerous fun dates on offer at attractive prices!

Went on a double date here, and it was an axe-traordinary experience! It was great to be able to pick up the skills so quickly (courtesy of the friendly staff) and we had a great time challenging one another to see who was the best among us. Looking forward to coming again!

Really fun activity and tried this for the first time and it was a great experience. Friendly staff! Was not easy throwing the axe at first but realized it really requires alot of strength. Might also be a little pricey, $60 for two of us for an hour. Overall enjoyed my time here. Will come again!

Fun activity indeed! However the price per person per hour is unjustifiable for throwing axe with just 5 minutes briefing. I left after 30minutes due to the air quality irritates my breathing, the stagnant air, body odour lingering, dust, and there’s a kind of chemical smell I think used on for treating the wood? My nose was running and itching. Overall a good experience but the price perhaps can be revised. Could also offer a 30 minutes instead of 1 hour coz it can get boring.

Staff was pretty professional and gave adequate safety briefing and demonstration to us. You will be scared when practising for the first time, but you will soon get the hang of it. The price was quite reasonable as well.

Quite fun learning how to throw an axe. I could get 50% stuck on the wall by 30mins of trial and error. The staff are pretty chill and happy to assist some more if you need tips. They might even play along with you as they did on a nearby competitive group. It’s thirsty work though so they have a stocked fridge. Good enough to book for 1 hour because of stamina. Do note it’s super dusty there because of all the wood dust flying around so make sure you bring a zipped bag for your stuff.

A really unique experience to throw axes around!

Was a load of fun de-stressing by throwing the axe to the board, but the girl who gave us the briefing did not really know how to tell us to throw properly and we ended up not making the axe stick 95% of the time…

Until 1 helpful staff actually taught us the proper technique about 20mins to the end of our 2hr session…

I went there as a group of 5. The price is really affordable in large groups, if you’re going in a group of 3-5 the total is $80 anyways, so each of us only had to pay $16 which I consider an absolute steal. The staff was really chill and one joined in our arm wrestling contest we were having while waiting for our time slot. Throwing the axe was definitely harder than I thought but by the end of the hour all of us had at least hit 3 axes on the board through skill or luck ( however some were able to actually learn the technique and hit it consistently)

The staff was kind enough to let us use an open lane that wasn’t booked since there were 5 of us sharing two lanes. They were very strict with the safety instructions too and demonstrated the technique pretty well. The whole area has wired fencing and some wood cushioning so the axe doesn’t fly off onto you. Highlight of the day was my friend getting two axes on the board, one on each hand. The metal axes were really fun to throw too. Pulling the axe out of the wood after you hit it brings a feeling of satisfaction I can only compare to popping bubble wrap and eating blueberry ice cream at the same time (weird analogy but you get the idea)

The place also has a cool wooden chair we used for pictures. The person at the counter remembering my name when we were leaving (he said bye *insert name*) and that made me feel really good about myself.

By the end of it I kinda felt like all my stress was gone and I was ready to do anything (I mean I was jumping around touching ceilings and stuff) . There was a dog cafe next to the place where you can bring your dogs which we visited (we got ice cream. I personally got avacado)

    Good points:
1 hour is sufficient for the axe throwing if going in a small group. Free parking available at grandstand. Managed to book 2 days before going online.

    Not so good points:
Our online booking was not reflected in their hard copy book. Initially the staff wanted to make us to start 15 mins later as there was no available lane but I wasn’t keen for that and they were eventually able to sort out a space for us. We were given lane 5 which is a solo lane whereas other groups had 2 lanes to themselves. The centre portion of the lane 5 board is really too chui for the axe to catch properly half the time.

It was alright – came 2 years back and it was so much more personal and enjoyable then – now, it’s just fully transactional and only had 1 staff for a full house, who couldn’t really do a proper demo. There was zero interaction after the first minute and the last 10 seconds and that was about it. The grandstand is also so run down now. It’s worthwhile as a novelty experience the first time around, but probably not a place that needs to be revisited.

This was really fun. There’s just something about throwing a tool/weapon that’s not just cathartic but rather engaging like a sport. I’m not a sporty person but this was easy to begin. I suppose how well one starts really vary but some how it came quite naturally to me. I know, I’m boasting with the pic. Though it did not happen consecutively. But it can happen to anyone, so that’s cool. It was a quiet evening though there was another group around. I’d recommended this to anyone, especially the curious. I think u grew a chest full of hair this evening, and started to smell like an orc.

A fun and unique experience in Singapore. The staff quickly checked us in and showed up how to throw axes properly. After than we spent the remaining hour honing our technique and feeling badass throwing axes.

The staff also helped us correct our form when our accuracy wasn’t very good. We tried the large and small axes (the small ones are harder to throw since the are so light). Afterwards, you can grab food in the mall or walk around the green areas surrounding the mall.

First time experiencing throwing an axe. It was funny, however maybe getting a new board to throw at would have been better. The board we were throwing at was largely defaced. The only reason I removed a star is because it was a bit too casual which made me feel a pinch unsafe, though there was no real risk. Also because they could upgrade their facilities and change out the boards more frequently.

Quite interesting and fun for something that I’ve never try before. Seems dangerous but actually it’s not! The staffs actually guided us on safety and how to really throw the axe. Would definitely come back again!!

For the price point @$35 per pax for 1 hour it’s pretty reasonable and you can get quite tired after 20mins, suggest you buy off Klook for a cheaper rate. Definitely a good place to wind down and vent your stress. Fun but location is slightly out of the way. Great for couples!

Fun place to go to! Cool experience to throw axes. Prompt response when contacted for enquiry. Booked and paid online for the slots. Will come back again.

Very relaxing! If you go for the first time, tell the staff, he will explain the throwing method, the first few throws always hit the wooden board with the handle of the axe, and after throwing a few times, you will hit it again and again if you find the skill~ You can make an appointment. is the location is a bit biased

Brought a group of my friends here for my birthday, but was unfortunately a disappointment. The lanes are poorly maintained – target boards so badly damaged they were falling off the wall and barely any of our throws stuck on target (with worn out axes wrapped in duct tape). Even the lighting that was the supposed to illuminate the target had been knocked out of position. Aside, there was only 1 staff member servicing the entire place that evening, with only bottled drinks and no options for food. Chairs were stacked as though they were closed and there was a large green trash bin featured in the middle of the premises. While we made the best of our time doing something unique, this was not the experience I had expected for paying $128 for 5 pax an hour. If you’re charging a premium for wooden planks and DIY axes, at least ensure that they are well maintained.

Loads of fun and a great way to get out some aggression. Not as hard as you might think, managed to get a couple of bullseyes on my first outing. Beers and wines, and helpful staff. Fun for all!

Awesome alternative axe-rcise to arm day at the gym!

You get to work out, play with sharp objects, and feel like a badass (just for a while).

Staff was friendly and popped by every now and then to offer tips on how to improve your aim. The booking process was also prompt which made things easier upon entry.

Finally, there’s something different to do in Singapore! The place is fully air-conditioned and there’s a few nice restaurants nearby to complete the trip.
It was pretty difficult to land an axe on the board but thanks to the friendly staffs, I managed to do it. Shout out to the Axe-perts! Will definitely come back again.

Have to say I had a great time, such a fun thing to do. It’s very hard to get the small axes at the target so I wish we had other options like knives to throw? I would say an hour is enough if you were say competing couple vs couple. Beer options and a relaxed atmosphere. A really sweet and friendly team, who accommodated for us when we started late due to rain and taxi issues. Would recommend and will go back.

This is one of the more unique activities/experiences in Singapore. Brought my wife and parents-in-law there and all of them enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Location is not the most convenient, but the price is reasonable and the fun is worth it.

Do take note though. Your arm may be sore after 1 hour of axe-throwing.

Awesome, never though axe throwing could be that fun. Double as a nice work out, throwing 1kg axes during 1h sure helps to sweat
Lot of saw dust in the air though, if you have allergies come prepared. …

How do you immediately look like a badass while impressing your friends? The answer is simple. Pick up some axe throwing skills at Axe Factor, Singapore’s first and only axe throwing range.

Wasn’t my cup of tea but the missus loved it. I would say that it’s good clean fun, but I’m nervy around blades so I couldn’t get into the swing of things.

    It’s worth a visit!

The only minus was some hammering/works going on as we had our session – I was quite sensitive to them (maybe jitters from the blades) and would’ve brought earplugs if I knew.

Had a lot of fun! The staff were friendly, helpful and most importantly for me, non-hovering. The axes weren’t as heavy as I thought they’d be, so I would recommend this for ladies as well. It was very satisfying to hear the heavy wooden thunk when the axes connected with the board. Would definitely go back. Also, it’s cheaper if you book 2 hours at a go instead of 1hr. Better to take your time and rest in between.

Having done this once before in another country, had some idea as to how this experience would be like. However the atmosphere / layout of this place is a lot more relaxed than expected and is more like bar with a cool activity. Once you sign the disclaimer and listen to the short instructions you are pretty much left to your own devices. They have a selection of aces but the default is the smaller “ninja” aces as well as the standard medium sized ones. Once you get the hang of it, it can get pretty competitive just make sure that no one’s throwing when you’re collecting your axe…(although “alternative” techniques sometime work better). The selection of beer is pretty good and all in all a pretty alternative / cool place to hang out, will come again. We came on a Saturday and was fairly busy so would advise booking.

Got bored after 15 mins. It’s a brilliant idea of a business tho. Just a few axes and loads of shattered wood.

Those with allergies or nose sensitivities may want to avoid this place (from the old chips flying etc).

It cost about $88 for 3 pax for an hour.
