The lobsters were the length of my palm but that was still acceptable. Most of them were squishy even after cooking for quite long. I came for the hype but frankly was left really disappointed.

This time when I went, they had confirmed my reservation after a bit of hesitation and confusion, which is an improvement from the last time. The mookata here is actually pretty good and worth it. On weekdays it’s $19.80 next for a buffet and on weekends, it’s $22.80!
The Thai milk tea is just your typical Thai milk tea. I’ve been here on numerous occasions and the food is quite consistent. The pork cheek is good and worth a try (don’t ignore it cause it sounds weird).
An exceptionally great place to gather with friends for a nice hearty meal at a decent price!

The food is above average and the buffet is worth the money. The owners have put in their heart and soul into the food and quality despite the costs. Would recommend a visit if you enjoy mookata

SGD30+ per pax for a premium buffet set includes lobster, prawn, scallop, oyster, different kind of meats, vege etc. Each person can order 1 lobster per round. Very reasonable quality of ingredients at this price.

Wagyu, oyster, flower crab was not fresh.

Premium set is not worth it as the snow beef is very chewy. Salmon though is acceptable.

Love the thai green tea and lemon grass drink

Overall it’s not about the quality but the value.

    Decent place.

Reasonable pricing. All food was good except pork belly and wagyu beef. Those 2 are not fantastic. . We had Ala carte instead of buffet and I think it is worth it as every dish is only about 2.50.

It’s ok. Decent spread of food, mostly frozen or ready made. Chilli is provided to go along with the mookata. Price is pretty average for the buffet. Drinks and service is okay. The place have air con so it’s quite cooling. There is several parking lots along the main street. Payment method is quite versatile.

Pros: Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, price was reasonable

Cons: marinated meat doesn’t taste great, fire needs to be hotter, xiaobaicai was the most disappointing – old yellow and hard.

After trying out so many mookata that mushroomed all over the place, so far this is one of the best in terms of how the meat is marinated and I especially like its operating hours. The place however could do with a little touch up as it’s quite tattered though.

Great value for money!! No time limit, and buffet ranges between $22-$30/pax. All buffet food is free flow (excluding ala cart and drinks). The meats and seafood were both fresh and extremely high quality. For drinks, the lemongrass is artificially flavoured, but the Thai milk tea is Cha Tra Mue brand and a definite recommendation if you visit. Service was wonderful and staff are friendly and eager to help. Seating arrangements are comfortable and spacious, and the overall energy of the place is great.

Thank you Aroy Mak, you gained 2 repeat customers!

The seafood tomyum was $39.90 on Fave.

Lobsters were really small, the meat was literally as much as the prawns. Portion according to Fave was for 3 to 4 people but It was not enough for 3 pax (2 ladies and 1 guy). We ordered Mookata, 2 portions of pork, 1 portion smoke duck and 1 portion luncheon meat. We ordered rice also.

Noodle seem like it was for 1 pax only.

Total bill was $60 for 3 pax with drinks, so not too bad for the price but wasn’t that filling.

The price is reasonable for buffet mookata, and the staff is also very attentive too – constantly walking around to check if need to top up soup. Free dine in voucher given too, can be used for subsequent dine in.

However, for people who love fresh ingredients (e.g., seafood), this is not the place to go. Also, the meat and seafood should also be served separately instead of putting all in the same plate which might cause possible contamination.

The pork belly slices are thicker than normal. Ventilation could use improvement. The pluses are the baby squid that comes with the non seafood buffet. Not a fan of seafood hence didn’t order the seafood buffet. The big plus is the kindness of one of the staff.
Paid sgd 20.80 for meat buffet on weekend. Seafood buffet charges sgd 30.80. drinks are separate and costs $2 to $2.50 each.

Ordered ala carte instead of buffet they have a rule here that everyone has to spend $10 each (not including drinks). If you don’t eat everything you have to pay more and they refused to clean our mookata grill after first round. Staff got order wrong on second order, not very nice either. Not worth it, will not come back again.

Highly recommend for those who like seafood and can eat a lot to get their seafood buffet mookata. We went on a wednesday night which cost $29.80 nett per pax for dinner. We had the Premium buffet $29.90 per pax, which comes with a small lobster and few more premium meat selections.
The drinks have to be purchased separately – we got 3 glasses of milk tea.
    Selection of items probably 50-ish?

I find the beef not as fresh and look slightly off from the usual color – indication of long storage perhaps?

Total damage is only $68++ for 2 pax, which I find it might be more worthwhile to just take the normal buffet which may cost $40++ for 2 instead.
Definitely one of the cheaper and better quality Mookata in SG.

Customer service was quite appalling. I had a reservation at 7pm but the staff was unable to get me seated. Furthermore, the staff was unable to communicate the reason why the table was unavailable and could not tell me if my table was indeed guaranteed. It was a very anxious 30 minutes waiting to get seated, as I was unsure if they indeed had a table for me. I had to talk to the manager, usually dressed in a different uniform, to clarify this. Otherwise, food was great and staff were attentive.

Quite like this mookata place and have been there a number of times as it is very affordable. Good place to go if you’re really hungry. However you need to know what is worth ordering and what is not. The wagyu beef and lobster in the premium buffet is not very nice, the beef is tough and the lobster is mushy. But their kurobuta pork is really good and soft, makes up for the tough wagyu. Would definitely recommend if you’re a pork lover. There is also ice cream included in the buffet as well (pandan flavour is nice). Would recommend if you’re not a picky person, overall a nice place. Just a few items that are not so nice but the rest is good.

One of the best value mookata shop in Singapore. Seafood esp the prawn and salmon is very fresh.

Tip: Marinade your salmon with sesame oil, soy sauce and pepper before cooking.

Grill your prawns after peeling off the shells for another 1-2 mins. The meat will firm up and the seafood flavour will be more intense.

Update : No more serving baby lobster but slipper lobster instead. No difference for me as both taste equally good.

Had ala carte dinner there on a weekday as I happen to be around the area.
    – the entrance to this place apparently is the same as the KL Chilli Ban Mee restaurant
    – Staff’s service attitude was okay, had to try pretty hard to get their attention even though the restaurant was not full.
    – Wanted to eat chili ban mee but was served regular ban mee (non-spicy)
    – Portion is pretty small for the price to pay.

Great Mookata At an affordable price. The marinated chicken and pork are must gets. Smoked duck and squid were amazing as well, though it’s classified as a premium ingredient. Personally went for Alacart as we don’t eat alot but we were still very extremely full at the end of the day.

However, the service by the staffs are really good. And they even accommodated to my friend’s birthday celebration and provided good service in serving us extra plates and utensil for the cake. This is the only reason I’m giving 3 star

My favourite mookata place in sg! Been here many times.

And the best part? No time limit! There’s plenty of seating available as well.

I cant eat that much but i love eating whole talking with friends here

Very affordable prices. Decent ingredients. Nothing fancy but value for money.

I love their thai green chilli sauce.

Good mookata, good ingredients, good thai milk tea, GOOD VENTILATION! I enjoyed myself here. Get the premium mookata buffet – it is so delicious that you will not regret it!

Worth for money and their buffet is nice. Don’t go for the salted egg yolk dip because it tastes weird. Humid environment so prepare to sweat a lot.

Had the set of Tom yum pork, the overall taste was delectable though so note that for big eaters perhaps it may a little little but nevertheless and fuss free dining experience for whoever cravings a little sour spice.

Two Buffet Options to choose from:
    $19.8 without beef or seafood
    $29.8 with beef and seafood

    Seafood was fresh.
Tiger prawn instead of vianamese was served.
The dip sauce was good too.

Waiter was very proactive n helpful.
    Overall good experience.

Air conditioned dining area but aircon blows air hotter than the steam from cooking the food. Feels like eating the in desert. Food isn’t that great either and extremely hard to find parking.

Alot of variety of food. Tom yum soup is yummy. But canoot keep adding, will be too thick and salty. After, u can add the pork bone soup base. …

Food quite good, tat day when i go the staff told me the lobster is free flow.. but getting smaller when keep ordering.. prefer the meat without marinade. Soup is sweet when cook with lobster and flower crab. Price is also quite reasonable for me since there is quite alot of seafood variety. But very less parking lot…

We took the one with unlimited small lobster choice at 29.90? Food was pretty alright, wont say the meat is the freshest, some of it had the meaty bloody taste. The marinated meat was alright too. The smoked duck was fatty and fragrant, a must order. Now about the lobsters, they’re not the normal size one you’d expect. These ones are small ones and they only bring out how many pieces according to how many is dining at your table. Only after you’re done then you can order again. The small lobsters are probably the frozen ones as a few were mushy too.

Wide variety and food was fresh. Value for money. Pricing structure was a little confusing with their own staff not being sure. Staff was slightly impatient when explaining to us the pricing and promotional items.

Not worth the price. Took the premium set, but meat and lobster were below expected standards. Prawn was pretty fresh except 1. Seems like the standards vary quite a bit. Sauce was nice. Drinks were separately charged.
