too small portion compared to price
    curry is a bit salty

    Indian restaurant with only non-Indians
Prices are 20-30% higher than local stores
    2-3% less quantity.
    Off-peak booking discount just right
    Considerably overpriced at normal price

This line is easy for many foreigners to enter
Since there is an Indian restaurant, it must be here
    there’s no reason not to

Food here is good, but portions are small. Prices are only the steeper side as well.

The day I had a reservation at this place, they had a private function going on as well. Would have been great if they had given a heads up prior to arriving, as we had to be seated outside. As a result, staff were not as attentive and would require a wait in order to order something. Food takes around 30 minutes to arrive, but may be due to the function as well. They can be found on Eatigo, and during certain times may have a good discount on this restaurant.

Came here for dinner on a weekday. Was the only customer upon arrival. Ordered the paneer butter masala, chana masala and naans. The food was good and flavourful. Chana masala was really nicely spiced with hints of lime and coriander. The naans were okay, not very fluffy.

The drinks were a disappointment. The sweet lassi was very watered down and the masala tea wasn’t very well spiced.

About our recent visit to Aroma’s restaurant @aromassingapore, a place where all vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food is available, located very near to Little India MRT, hence easily accessible!
They offer a diverse selection of dishes among which what we ordered! The staff can even understand and speak HINDI if required and will recommend their best dishes with perfect suggestions! So, don’t hesitate to ask them!
For me the FLAVOUR WAS AMAAZZIIING!!! It’s actually difficult to pinpoint the best dish as all the dishes we ordered were SUPERB

Overall it was rather quiet which was surprising, especially on a Saturday night. But highly recommended. Service is great and the food is amazing. It was quite enjoyable. Make sure to try the Kulfi as well. Definitely recommended!

Was quite skeptical after going through reviews! We went on a PH for dinner and it was not much crowded. The food and service was pretty good. We tried chicken biriyani, schewan fried rice, naan, tandoor chicken, lemon soda and few veg starters. Everything was above average. Nothing to complain about

The service and ambience was good too. It was a bit slow (probably due to less staff) but we were not in a hurry anyways! So overall had a good time. Would come here again.

So we ordered Gobi 65 and Hariyali Kabab. Both taste amazing Especially Hariyali Kabab. Later we ordered the main course in which we order Paneer Butter masala, Veg Korma, and Garlic Naan. Trust me I had an amazing time because all the dishes taste wonderful. Also, the staff was friendly and helped us to know about the popular dishes of their place.
You can just blindly book this place. I will give Full points.

We followed the recommendations of the manager who suggests a balance of ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ dishes, we had these that totally surprised us in a pleasant way:

GOBI 65 ($10) – deep fried cauliflower that’s encased in a thin crispy batter.

CHICKEN MALAI TIKKA ($14.90) – chicken that’s marinated in yogurt, cashew nut paste, spices, fresh cream and bbq-ed in a clay oven. Very moist, tender and flavorful, though somemight find the taste slightly heavy. Non-spicy

MIXED VEG KURMA ($12.90) — assorted root veggies cooked in coconut cream and cashew nut paste. Comfort food at best. Very lemak and non-spicy

MUTTON ROHAN JOSH ($15.50) — star dish of our meal Not a fan of mutton but this literally made me a convert. Thanks to the 4-hour long slow cooking process, the mutton here is melt-in-ur-mouth without any gamey taste. Definitely not the usual mutton curry elsewhere.

Instead of biryani, we had garlic cheese naan and lacha paratha, of which we prefer the latter as it reminded us of scallion oil pancake — flaky and aromatic.

Overall the dishes we had were at most, mildly spicy. If u r lost at what to order, I think the manager would gladly help to recommend and even share the stories behind. A hidden gem indeed in Little India, best to gather more ppl to try more dishes in a sitting.

We had a table for 12 pax for dinner. Restaurant was maxed but nothing more than 20pax at 3 different tables overall. Food was very very slow. Staff could not cope with taking orders and keeping account of whom had ordered what. We waited 45min for an appetizer. Every other dish was delayed that we could not have a proper meal as mains was over before the rice or naan arrived or vice versa.

Pepper prawn was salty. Probably cooked in a rush. They were more busy attending to food delivery app orders than customers in the restaurant. We ate close to $500 but it wasnt something we enjoyed or had a memorable experience at all.

Pls look at attending to in-dining guests rather than food delivery app orders. The experience could have been better unfortunately.

The owner, Muthu was so kind to help us with the order as it was our first time there..our family unanimously agreed that the food (comprising meat, fish curries, veg n naans) recommended were great! do try out this restaurant and you won’t regret it! Thank you so much, Muthu n we wish you the very best!

My family and I visited Aromas of India on Father’s Day as my dad is a big fan of Indian food and his friend had previously recommended the restaurant.

The manager, Sam was very welcoming and provided us with suggestions without being pushy. Through his suggestions, we were able to sample a variety of carbs and protein.

The food was amazing, especially the butter chicken and garlic naan. I was worried about the lamb dish as I am sensitive towards the smell in general, but it was very well cooked and tender. In addition, we had fragrant bryani rice, ladies fingers and prawns, which were all very delicious without being cloying.

The servings were just enough for 4 pax and very reasonably priced for a proper restaurant with good AC, decent bathroom and professional service.

Overall, an outstanding experience and highly recommend Aromas of India!

Customer Service is not there, but I can’t deny the food is nice, they forgot my coffee and they still charge it, told them to top up papadam they didn’t. So overall 3 stars. …

Good ambience and service. Poor drink choices especially buttermilk. Samosa channa is delicious while chicken tikka is very normal. Decided not to try main course and left for imagination. Good luck with your order.

We enjoyed having dinner here, we tried many dishes. Started by Gobi 65, deep-fry Cauliflower, crispy and tasty . I like the Kashmiri Naan, it has nuts and dried fruits filling and dip it into Prawn Goan Curry. Delicious. The mutton Biryani is flavourful, mutton is tender and nice. Chicken Tandoori is delicious too.

My family likes their food too. See the last picture️

Very impressive door. A little daunting for people to enter as one cannot see beyond the door. Very quiet and unassuming entrance. Lovely plants flank the front door.

Outstanding food. Must, must visit. Beats the excellent Mustard a few doors down, IMHO. Appears to be used a lot by people to order from. Simple place, plenty of sitting room. I strongly recommend coming here and eating as well. Not halal-certified but they said the meat is halal and the chef is Muslim and cooks only halal meat. So there.

The food is amazing, very flavourful. There is a variety of options to choose from. Boss made many excellent recommendations on the must-try dishes, and it’s delicious. The price is reasonable, I ordered six different dishes and cost less than $100

Aroma’s of India is located along the Little India area where you can also find other Indian restaurants on the same street. I found that they love to show their Northern style Indian food through their grilled menu.

The Paneer menu has always been one of my favorites, although grilling it leaves the paneer taste empty, it’s still an invigorating dish that pairs well with another curry and Naan bread.

Their garlic naan is top of the line, it’s so buttery and yummy, perfect to blend with any curry you like. The Tomato Soup leaves a lot of things to be desired and really lack depth.

The Rogan Josh Mutton though is something else. The meat is cooked thoroughly and leaves almost no aftertaste, they are also very soft and infused with Rogan Josh curry so well.

Great food! One of the best butter chicken in SG! Chicken tikka was good too. Lamb vindaloo had a few pieces of lamb only though.. but overall great place if you are a butter chicken fan. The naan is also crispy and hot – seems like they do it on the spot. Service is ok too. If dining off peak – try using eatigo.
