My family and I were from the newly open outlet at Bukit Panjang but due to peak crowd, we head down straight to Chai Chee instead. Fortunately, this Chai Chee is cosy for families to enjoy their meals.

Got seated a few minutes after their opening time (1130). Wanted to have a good meal before I get my my dental appoint at 1230. But I could not because the kitchen took more than 30mins to prepare my meal as they were not ready. If the opening time for their outlet is stated to be 1130, the kitchen should be ready before 1130. Pretty disappointed.

When I requested to not have a straw, they cashier claimed that they don’t practise giving straws… Then she ran over to pull out the straw from my drink that was on the way to being served.

We visited the restaurant at 31 July, 5pm. One of my family member ordered the teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki sauce that was served to us tasted very salty instead of sweetness. We double checked with the waitress if whether they got the sauce mix up but she insisted it was teriyaki sauce and she told me she will replaced with a new sauce anyway. We still got served with the same salty unknown sauce. I highly doubt our taste buds got problem.
It is expensive for the price.. wouldn’t patronize it again even if it’s free!

There was a long queue infront of me; 2 seperate families and I’m coming in with a family of 5. The Manager (I think) was kind enough to let us know the estimation of the wait and he was very patient in giving reassurance to us that we can still dine-in despite the long wait. While waiting, we are handed over the menu to browse before making our way to order before entering.
He updated us that our table is clearing and we’ll be able to have our seats soon. Top notch customer service, their staff’s are all so patient and friendly! Just had one of the best Hickory BBQ Chicken ever! I’ve been dining at Astons since 2009 and recent years this Andes outlet. Tonight (8sep), the griller deserves a pay raise as the chicken was juicy and tender, I didn’t even need a knife. Previously, it can be hard and dry, over charred. But it was perfect tonight. The manager and staff were great too and the staff look happy to work which is a great plus for service. Thank you

Have always loved Andes food ever since I was introduced to it 2 years ago. Fall madly in love with their black pepper sauce that goes along with their meat. Their ribeye xtra cut is always a choice and of course their baked potato as a side. It was oos when I arrived at the chai chee outlet.. service has always been good too! Keep it up!!!

I ate lunch twice and dinner once at this restaurant and I really enjoyed every meal I had. I found the prices reasonable and the service more than acceptable.

I was given a very small “x” size prime rib-eye. Didn’t expect they got the guts to serve it. It was smaller than my side dishes, French fries. Manage to ask for an exchange tho. But was serve well done instead of medium well. Moreover, workers started to clean everything at 9:00 pm where there are still a number of customer dining in store. For eg: the sauces was not place outside. When asked, they said it has been washed.

My 2nd visit to this outlet. Place is quiet and not crowded. Therefore the chefs do not rush their cooking and ensure their food quality is not compromised. Definitely will come back if i venture to east side again.

My favourite place for a good steak at an affordable price. I usually drop by here at about 2.30pm after the lunch crowd had thinned out. My “usual” order is the ribeye xtra cut well done with mac & cheese and baked potato on the side. As my meat is well done, it’s common to wait about 15 minutes for the food. And the wait is worth it. Staff is friendly. Unlike other restaurants, you have to order and pay first before you are shown to the table. Oh BTW, this place does not accept NETS!

Had a very unpleasant encounter with staff Eddy on poor judgement for enforcing house rules on safe distance seating arrangement. Value for money. My New York Strip came with 2 free sides, for less than $20. Not the best meat there is, but decent enough for the price. Sides nothing fantastic, average. Meat was without chewy tendon, and cooked to the right doneness. Simple steak for a Tuesday night dinner. Satisfied.
The steaks are just decent, not good enough juicy or soft. But maybe you cannot get better than this at this price range. The sides are good. No extra gst or service charge on top of the prices specified in the menu. The place is good.
Ordered Double Up Chicken and asked for Chargrilled Chicken and Hickory BBQ chicken with Garden Veggies and Mac and Cheese as sides.
After waiting for quite some time, the dish was served. The moment it was served, there was an oddly weird smell. When I bit into the carrot that came with the Garden Veggies, it was slimey and tasted bad. Setting it aside, I decided to start with the chicken. When I bit into the chicken, it had a burnt taste and it was really salty too. However, the Mac and Cheese was quite tasty although the sauce was more watery than the other outlets I went to previously.
I alerted a waiter about the Garden Veggies and the manager came to apologise. She offered a replacement of sides really politely.

Simple western cuisine served in restaurant setting, comes with 2 side dishes. Nothing fanciful, you get what you pay for. Service is sloppy, could tell the staff were not motivated. Food is okay.
Manager Eddy is awesome! My potterhouse steak came pretty raw at the centre part despite I asked for medium. I have eaten 3/4 of it and yet Eddy insisted he re do a full steak for me. He is attentive and checked on me again thereafter.

Steak was well cooked but the side which is baked potato and Mac & cheese is lukewarm. Menu spread has reasonable selection of pasta, steaks, chicken dish and seafood.
Food is very slow, even though we arrived early. Because we spent a lot of time waiting, the queue builds up at the outside of the restaurant. Taste of the food is fine, price is reasonable.

the place for halal and affordable steaks
Place is near decathlon chai chee(bedok). Walkable distance 10 mins walk from the mrt station . The lady handling the front entrance was very friendly! She catered to our meeds when I dine in. Place is comfy with the decorations and is clean. halal certified place. The serving and prices are also good! This is the first time eating at this store, so far I dont have any complaints about the food unlike other andes stores around. Would come again. Staff there are also helpful and friendly.
If u love burgers, u must try ieat super burger! So yummy n huge! Porterhouse steak n truffles chips were great too.
Good halal place to have some yummy steak at budget friendly prices. Their mocktails are good too. They don’t have service charge. You’ll need to write down your order and pay at the cashier yourself. Food and drinks are served quite quickly.

Nearest Astons in Bedok and it’s halal-certified. Very crowded during lunch but the quality of food was as good as any other outlets.

Ordered grilled fish with herbs ($11.50). Fish was ok, not too bland, lightly seasoned. Herb taste could be stronger. Mac n cheese sauce was quite watery, could be thicker. Taste wise was good and not jelak. Onion ring was good. Crispy and onion-y. Overall a nice halal western place to dine at.

The workers are friendly, quick and efficient in their job. The food is great and at a great pricing. Totally worth it to eat there! And it’s halal certified which makes it better!! However, they should play a bit of music in the background, it would fit the aesthetic and the mood.

Great value for food, no service charge, yet the service is good! Except that I wished that orders could be taken at the table instead of queueing up at the counter to order which may be sometimes long. The staff are friendly and helpful and when I lost my mask after my meal, the waiter noticed and offered me a new mask. So grateful and touched.
Good, quiet place to go for western food. Chicken and fish are reasonably priced and there are good range of sides to choose from. All are good except Mac and cheese which tastes like ready-to-eat. Steak was good but now the price went up so it may not be so worth it as before. Service is prompt and u order and pay at counter at the same time. Queue is short even during weekends.
The food taste great! Ordered their Wagyu Ribeye Grade 6 steak.. This was the reason I went there. You get what you pay for. The meat is so tender, juicy and tasty. It just melts in your mouth. I only wish they had more items on the menu like appetisers and dessert or something.

Usually the place has a long queue but surprisingly the crowd wasn’t that bad on a Monday evening. Had a gathering there, the seating area are comfortably spread and they do have tables to accomdate larger group so it’s a nice place for get-together. The grilled chicken chop is nice. Had the double up chicken so that I could try two different choices of flavour.
The IEat Burger was excellent. Had a beef patty wrapped with bacon, fried onion batter thingie which was the bomb. Only issue is that it took forever to get a table cos ppl took a long time to order at the counter before you get your seat but the wait was worth it.
