I pass through this station every working day. It’s a small station comparatively. Unless you’re really visiting this place for specific reason, it’s not really a hub for anything. It doesn’t have it’s own taxi stand. Can you believe it? Nothing special worth mentioning at this station. Oh, one good thing for this station is that the ticketing counter actually opens late pass the working hours, so in case you need to transfer value from your expired EZlink card, etc you can still do it after works. I think this is quite special, not every MRT station ticketing service opens late.

brilliant location, easy to access the rest of the city from there and you can have a nice meal there almost anytime of the day/night. however because of the grass field outside the station, it looks a bit eerie at night especially moving alone like I was.

Its location, nicely nested at the middle of the infamous Geylang district, means that most travellers may have to board or alight from this station.
There are no connecting Train route but this is where you stop if you need to go to the many eateries and living quarters located in and around Geylang.
Also, this is where you can hop onto the many buses plying along Sims Ave, Geylang Road and Aljunied Road to get further away.
If you’re planning a Mrt journey to explore Singapore , you certainly cannot miss Aljunied Mrt Station.

Bicycle bay no parking place nobody wants to park the bicycle on the stacking rack so is a failure.
