It serves Indian food BUT the food is far from being Indian! It might serve well for those in search for something familiar but rest assured, for those who live in India it does NOT taste nice. The staff is not able to understand a lot of English, it’s difficult communicating and even finding out what exactly a dish is.

Service isn’t good. The portions are quite small. Food is very expensive and there’s absolutely NO SCOPE of getting things like tissues, water, condiments, extra serving of sambar and chutney – ALL things that are done by default in India. Over here, it’s either not given or is not free. The Parathas were actually disgusting cos of the oil used.
No idea what they use. But it has a bitter after taste.

That said even though the food is costly, it’s relatively Cheaper than the other options at tourist spots. And there are very very very few vegetarian options available. This is one of them.

Indian food is halal certified and delicious, the briyani rice is delicious, especially the chicken, the spices are absorbed, the price is 7$, the fried rice is also delicious. but it seems that every day the seasoning theme is different, so I bought it here again the next morning the fried rice turned out to be different (in the morning it was red), then the fried noodles were also red for 4.5$. don’t forget to try the plain prata which is delicious for 2.4 $ (for 2 prata).

This restaurant is in geylang area. Really my savior when I was in Singapore. It is located among the many non-halal Chinese restaurants, here it is guaranteed to be halal. The menu is very diverse, a variety of Chinese, Thai, western, Indo, and the most typical Indian menu. The food here has very strong spices. The portions are large with prices that are safe in the pocket, making me go back and forth there. There are also snacks and various sweets. If I go there, I recommend seafood fried rice, biryani rice, and drink warm Milo. It’s really delicious, cheap, lots of it and most importantly halal.

They brought a glass with an imprint of someone else’s lipstick and an unwashed spoon … This is the first time for me))
Banana prata was cooked for 10 minutes, it seems to me, they ran to the store for bananas.
Coffee with milk and banana prata 3.6 Singapore dollars.
The food is ok for an Indian diner, but the dishes need to be washed.
    There are no napkins anywhere.
However, there are always a lot of people sitting and eating.

This place has always been my favorite go to for the mamak fare in Singapore. Personally, I still find their paper dhosai one of the best in Singapore, the prata is just as good as any I have had in Malaysia from a standard mamak, but definitely better then a lot of other mamaks I have eaten at in Singapore, which are generally not fluffy and has that cooked for the sake of cooking texture.

Do note that there are 2 ABC’s on Geylang, go to the one on the corner of Lrg 15 and Sims, NOT the one on Lrg 10.

When you come to Geylang, you often walk around (both before and after). When I’m tired or thirsty, I go to this kind of shop. Even if I’m not hungry, I eat a roti platter. You can choose the curry that comes with it, such as chicken, fish, or beans. First of all, it is safe to choose chicken. Because it’s easy to pronounce. As for the drink, we recommend “Milo”. In most cases, it is thick, sweet and delicious. For ice cream, order Milopin (milo ice).
