Fantastic braised duck at a neighborhood coffeeshop standards at good prices. I’d definitely come by if I’m in the area.

While the duck itself was fantastic, well seasoned and juicy, it does have some tougher portions and the sauce its served with is just average. My biggest gripe is the rice, as there isn’t any yam flavor and its a tad mushy as well.

The business is at its peak around lunch hours daily with long endless queue. Most customers prefer to take away.
There are various braised duck dishes which are reasonably priced & delicious.

Good portion servings for the price.
The meat is fresh with no smell and taste is traditionally good and the soup is just right without feeling salty.

However, meat not as tasty and “q” as the famous one in Chong Pang market, and the soup does not taste “herbal” as You_Kee.

Be prepared for long queue, even on weekdays.

Ordered the kway chap and the braised duck noodle – dry. Wah! The star definitely the braised duck noodle. Don’t know how they prepare the sauce but really wonderful! Cannot really pinpoint why it is so nice. Must have used many ingredients to make such a wonderful flavor. Definitely excellent.

Not surprisingly the Kway Chap also very nice. They really mastered the way to spice the food.

    Definitely must try!

Although I seldom eat duck. But this store serves up a pretty tasty plate of braised duck rice! They have other offerings such as roasted meat, congee, noodles. The chilli compliments the duck really well. Worth a try if you are in the vacinity. Usually comes with a short Q but the Q moves rather quickly! Sell out by late noon! So come early to avoid disappointment

The queue of this store is unreal, be prepared to queue for 10 minutes at least. There is braised duck rice which cost $3. The braised duck set which many people order cost $4. I ordered the braised duck porridge. Very light and thanks fo the ducks, it became very nice. The eggs and tofu is very well done, can tasted the herbs

Authentic taste like back in 50s. Duck meat was tender and juicy. The chilli is really the enhancer. The rice is the winner, soft, fragrant, non-sticky. Too bad, rice was sold out before I could order for extra. Highly recommended to try out.

This stall always have a long queue during weekends. Try their duck noodles which comes with flavorful herbal soup. Their duck porridge is my favourite with slices of duck in the porridge instead of chopped pieces that somehow gives me a feeling of discarded duck meat.
