Soup taste ok, thick.
But the noodles are short2 like tauge, is that how is supposed to be, can’t even use chopstick to eat, must use spoon.
Try the sungei road laksa, they only give Spoon n no chopstick, must gek chopstick to pick up their noodle cause is long
Decent laksa
Local favourite at its best!
I was hoping they serve other variety of food other than laksa. But the laksa was good but a bit pricey for me. I’ve eaten laksa in other places that taste better but of a reasonable price. Needs improvement on their ingredients.
Delicious breakfast
Leckeres Frühstück …
Closer for me than go to katong area and it taste the same deliciously
Delicious
Worth a visit
Yummy laksa!
not the same anymore, tried here once and still preferred the one run by the founder Lucy Koh @328 EC Rd but unfortunately it closed sometime back
I missed our Laksa after leaving Singapore for 4 months, this can’t satisfy me, time to move on and hunt for another outlet
Laksa here is authentic with all the right ingredients added plus an awesome coconut-based gravy. You can opt for 3 different sizes to match your appetite. Service is good and fast – I got mine in 5 minutes. Peak period is between 12 noon to 2pm when office workers swarm there for their favourite dish.
Good laksa, good chili. Slightly pricey but worth it. I typical eat slightly more than usual so had to go for the large laksa to be full
Taste is OK but price super not ok. Overpriced
Fragrant bowl of laksa which i finished the gravy at the end! Consider on a little expensive side but worth to have it every now and then.
Generous serving of delectable laksa. Also ordered the fried prawn cake. There was a lot more bee hoon and could have had more ingredients. The laksa gravy was very tasty.
Good portion for price. Good taste but not excellent.
Definitely delicious…
Food is quite good but pricy and non-aircon too. Location is central.
Flavour is above average compared to your run of the mill laksa store. However, I thought the ingredients could be more generous and the cockles that I had on that day didn’t taste fresh. Also ordered the otah, which tasted pretty average.
Very oily laksa
Overpriced. Used to be cheap and good. Nowadays the prices are $5.80, $6.80, $7.80 for the different sizes. Probably due to the location and high rental. Same as other franchised food chain, quality dropped when they expanded…
Nice gravy laksa
The laksa is delicious here and very flavourful. Absolutely loved it. Only a few tables available in front of the stall.
United square
the lasak is delicious, but a little bit pricey
The is a cheap , more fast food style restaurant located in a cool Katong district, however do not be deceived by the exterior or interior of this place. It is amazing. In case you would like to try the real Singaporean laksa, which is very delicious, that’s the place to go. They serve the most amazing laksa you can try and you should try it here. It is even worth to come to Katong, just because of this restaurant. Do not miss, you will not regret coming here for sure.
Good
Awesome Laksa. They also have otah and onsen egg available
Slightly different from original stall
Good, but I think the original is better
The best laksa I have so far, yet the otah can be improved.
I love the thick laksa sauce but a bit over price. You can get better taste for value at Kelantan lane and yishun
Laska comes with prawns, order smallest size but the serving size is generous. But the price is expensive at $6.30
101 Thomson Road #01-K1 United Square (S)307591
Creamy and lovely! Put more chilli in and mix it up! Woohoo!
Laksa was good and filling, but not outstanding. Or maybe I just had high expectations since this is a popular stall. The taste gets better though when there’s seafood in each bite.
A small bowl costs SGD 6.3 plus an additional SGD 1.5 for a soft-boiled egg.
Delicious laksa that you can eat with a spoon. The noodlea are cut short to be able to scoop with all the seafood and brooth. This was a laksa worth the trek out. There is seating outside in front of the stall. It was easy to find as it’s next to the Starbucks Reserve.
This is one of the few branches of 328 Katong Laksa. And 328 Katong Laksa is consider the TOP 5 Laksa of Singapore
It’s a best try if you are Singapore. You can also try their Otah Otah and also Nasi Lemak if u still stomach is not filled. Their Laksa is not like the others, u can just use spoon instead of chopsticks.
the usual Katong Laksa but the seats are outdoor (no air-con)
Honestly, I love food and I have no idea why I never tasted this magic bowl of goodness before. Its so hard to describe the amazing flavours and richness you get from the laksa here. This is such comforting food, its so addictive and moreish.
Very expensive for a small bowl of laksa with a few cockles, 2 tiny shrimps and a few strands of bean sprouts for $5.50. Not sure whether egg or otah was part of the offer but when enquired further was informed that have to pay.
Who would want to pay for such poor service n miserable food served in the hot afternoon open air?
Cash only. Very smooth, nice Laksa. Enjoyed the broth and contents. The chilli was nice too.
Delicious Laksa but too pricey
Small bowl for $6.30
Thick bee hoon, fishcake, cockles, prawn, shrimp sambal and laska leave in Lemaky laska curry soup.
Place small and hot, the management from United Square didn’t open the fan. Suffering while eating.
Averge tasting food that is not worth the hype
My friend and I were recommended this place by our taxi driver from the airport. We happened to stumble upon it after wandering around the area. The laksa is really good! Lots of noodles and seafood. The soup base is not too creamy, just the right amount of spicy, and only 6.50 for a medium bowl, which was a good amount for my friend and I to share (though we’ve been eating all day so we weren’t starving when we got it.) It’s a little food stall that’s easy to miss, so keep an eye out!
Great. It is so delicious. I really like the taste.
Like the original in katong. Can be quite hot
It tastes a lot more ordinary than you think. I think it’s better to just eat at the local food market and the price is cheaper. I don’t think it’s a place to go to eat on purpose.
생각보다 엄청 평범한 맛이에요. 그냥 로컬 푸드 마켓에서 먹는 게 더 맛있고 가격도 저렴한 것 같아요. 일부러 찾아가서 먹을 만한 집은 아니라고 생각합니다.
Really good laksa. I finished one medium bowl ($7.30, quite pricey) and it was delicious. The soup was hot and the texture was just right. The noodles were also not too short and were cut at a comfortable length. The service crew gave me a pair of disposable chopsticks on top of their usual spoon.
Also, the fact that I ordered a medium bowl also seemed to come as a surprise to some people queueing behind me. One guy ordered a small bowl for himself and a couple ordered a medium bowl for themselves to share. Rest assured, however, that you can definitely finish a medium sized bowl if you are hungry. Perhaps if you don’t have much of an appetite or are trying the laksa for the first time, you can order the small bowl. I didn’t see any options for cashless payment, so I paid with cash.
The service crew were very responsive and friendly. When I asked for extra chilli, they promptly gave me more and even asked if it was enough.
I went there on a weekend during lunch time and it wasn’t too crowded; I managed to find seats easily. It also wasn’t too hot for me, because I grabbed a seat underneath the overhead fan. There were very few birds around as well (I only spotted one), so you can eat in peace.
Nearest MRT: Novena. It’s a short walk from the MRT to United Square. The shop is located near the entrance of the mall, so you can’t miss it.
The best laksa
Legit and this branch is as good as the one located at Katong
The taste of Laksa is solid, delicious.
Rasa Laksanya mantap , enak.
I love the service of this one friendly aunty, ah boy and serving trays old uncle that wanting to bring me back to this Novena United Square stall, going to miss the delicious Laksa with Chee Ham (Clams) you can enjoy the Otah and the Lohan Guo drinks. I should say it’s seafood halal so Malay can eat also cos it no pork, no lark. I was lucky to know there will be a major renovation for this stall between 5 to 21 November 2019. I am going to miss the convenient location in the heart of town.
Somehow the laksa was still spicy even though chilli was removed from my bowl. Quite pricey.
Delicious laksa.
Consistently good laksa. Quite large portions for the small, medium and large. The smallest serving is usually enough to fill me. Their eggs are super yummy, like the soya onsen eggs in Japan. Service is fast and courteous.
Taste is still good but expensive. Environment not great as it cam be quite hot in the day time.
Delicious local delight.
Yummy delicious.
Enak enak enak.
Not really the same as the original but it’s good
Cos I worked in this mall …
Small standing Katong Laksa shop
小さなスタンド式のカトンラクサ屋
Taste the latest Laksa 26 Jan’23 was thicker than last year Nov-Dec’22 when I lasted was a China lady v black face, today was cooked by M’sian male chef taste much better and Vietnamese friendly came back but minor 1 star ⭐️ Otah is like going to spoiled …
The portion is reasonable and the taste its rather similar to the one I had in the original place. The only thing is, I was there on sunday, so there’s quite a bit of people shopping in the area as well. There’s nobody in the restaurant to supervise 1m distancing in some area, So you all might need to be careful in this.
Tasty and Nice. …
Laksa tasted bold, take all you can sambal. Otah was full of spices and tasty
Always delicious and hearty
Nice laksa & otah, but it gets hot sitting outdoors.
Soup is nice and hot. Definitely a repeat customer.
Yummy goodness!
The way to find tumminess (happiness of the tummy.. ).. And, I love it in more chili.. Spicy overload! …
Delicious..
Good
Great Laksa, deserves the michelin award. First time I really enjoyed eating Laksa in Singapore.
It’s just taste like an ordinary laksa.there is nothing special about it. I’m not trying or buying it for the second time.
The nasi lemak, just bery ordinary but the only item I like is the Otah, that’s the only one I like.
Great laksa at an affordable price. Highly recommended.
I just love the flavour…just right, nothing short of ingredients!
Comfort food
I think it is ok only. Gave us v little gravy need to go ask for more
So so taste only. Expensive relative to it’s quality. I prefer the Original one at Katong.
Done deal! Solid one of the Best Laksa in singapore. Found it alittle pricey for the entry level (small) bowl only at $5.50….the empty bowl means we need more.
Food is good as expected of Katong Laksa… However price is going up and portions are shrinking even with the price increases. Don’t feel it as much in other outlets
Nice
whenever I see laksa especially the katong 1. you no longer know which 1 is original
Standard drop tremendously.
Laksa Meme, it tastes so good
락사 머임 너무 맛잇자나
Top 1 for this outlets, tastiest Laksa gravy and portion just nice Enjoy the most friendliest welcoming service, cozy spacious tables and smooth human traffics. …
Just average laksa.
Laksa is full of flavours.. very delicious! My bowl was empty. Absolute favorite! Drinks can be improved.
Laksa laksa
Laksa laksa laksa
It rules
Absolutely delicious Laksa, although a little bit overpriced. Friendly staff that are happy to answer any questions you might have.
not bad overall. I prefer Janggut laksa overall though
I had laksa for my first meal after arriving in Singapore I was really curious about what it would taste like, but I ate it well for reference. Still, it’s famous when you come to Singapore, so I recommend you to try it at least once! It’s like a jjamppong combination of rich shrimp flavor and coconut milk.. The price is cheap, and lime juice is a must when ordering!!! It plays a role in catching the feeling that comes up when eating
Good but expensive!
Very tasty lemak laksa but prices at higher end
Such a great laksa. Tastes like nothing I’ve had before.
Bought it at late afternoon, I believe the gravy was from morning and after much serving without refill, the gravy was salty.
I bough medium size and the container used was rather small thus noodles were compact n not much gravy. Could be better since everything is ‘packed away’
Tasty
Nice…
Enak…
it is delicious! But it’s outdoors, so it’s hot, and napkins are $0.30.
맛있어요! 하지만 야외라 덥고, 냅킨이 0.3달러네요.
The taste is generally ok. It is authentic Katong laksa which you eat with spoon only, w/o chopsticks but the price seems to be pricey for this outlet.
Yummy Laksa
Best laksa i ever tasted! Worth it
Food was awesome, especially the otak otak was flavorful
Yum! Love the laksa!
It is ok. I have eaten a lot of chicken and prawn laksas in Australia that are far better. Bit on the prawn flavour broth side and a bit watery
The taste is good, the cashier has no smiley faces, the restaurant is outside the mall, no air conditioning, hot!
味道很好,收银无笑脸,餐厅在商场外,无空调,热!
Great laksa, it taste unique. Not so great outdoor environment since Singapore is hot.
Honestly, I love food and I have no idea why I never tasted this magic bowl of goodness before. Its so hard to describe the amazing flavours and richness you get from the laksa here. This is such comforting food, its so addictive and moreish.
Authentic and cheap
Sept 2019
Not the perfect laksa. Since it is not always crowded. So the gravy is not hot.
Today the gravy is thicker than usual.
Bean sports boiled too long and left there.
The drinks are also expensive $1.70 for a can of HnE lemon Tea.
What I like about this place. Is because there is a old Chang kee next door.
So I can buy the the fried stuffs and dip in the gravy.
If u looking for authentic katong laksa…. Or the 328 brand..
The better ones I tried.. is at Queenstown and katong itself.
328 katong L K not like before the taste is getting worse may too good business the gravies become more watering or diluted
Best Laksa for me. Place not packed most of the time and usually no queue. Quick fix.
Good taste but many oil
The original Katong Laksa really is as good as the locals say it is..
Nice Katong Laksa.
Nice!! Must Try! Laksa! Katong Laksa
The katong laksa here is not bad, pretty authentic. Wasn’t too impressed with the otah. It was quite cold but I think that should be expected.
Cheap takeaway laksa. What you see is what you get.
Overpriced. Very slow staff. There are better food options around.
Franchise outlet of Katong laksa in Katong. Favour is standard and queue us not long.
Not too bad but not cheap at $5.5/6.5/7.5. Do note that the soup itself is already very spicy without adding additional chili. The shop also sells Nasi Lemak (basic version with only Ilan billis and 1 fried fish), curry chicken rice and otak. Outdoor seating available.
delicious, spicy
好味,偏辣
Nice Laksa but do not serve other food and limited drinks. Self service and you need to go with a friend during peak hour as there is limited seats.
I was in Malaysia and Singapore for just under three weeks and this might be the best laksa I’ve had (ever), although the laksa I had in Sarawak, Malaysia was super tasty too. The broth was to die for!!
Great smell n taste of the Katong Laksa i ever tasted.
Find it so so only. Small portion did $6.30
Think they recently revamp, is fast and delicious. You dont need a fork to eat this. Great taste
Food was good and its because we did not have it for quite sometime.
Best Laksa this part of town!
Good bowl of spicy laksa with lots of prawns and fish cake if you request for no cockles.
Yummy laksa
Wonderful staff and scrumptious food worth every dollar
food is nice especially the spicy ones!
Good
Expensive
Generous serving of delectable laksa. Also ordered the fried prawn cake. There was a lot more bee hoon and could have had more ingredients. The laksa gravy was very tasty.
Prefer the Katong branch. This is good too but missing something. Might be the location, because family goes to the other one all the time.
Is nice but nothing special compare to other laksa.
Very delicious 328katong Laksa Singapore style restaurant place
非常最好吃的328katong Laksa 新加坡风味餐馆的地方
If you can’t go all the way to Katong, but really want to have nice laksa, this can be an option. Located not far from Newton MRT, this place is really just a stall outside a mall, but they serve good laksa as it is in Katong.
A lot of people say that the location isn’t good because it’s outside and not air-conditioned but we’re tired of aircon and that Singapore is hot anyway so why not eating hot coconut rich soup and be sweaty (and merry)?
All in all, it’s worth visiting for a short cut if you don’t want to go all the way to Katong
The laksa is average. Mid-size costs $6.5.
Reasonable price, easy to eat, not too spicy, soup is a little bit salty but overall best Laksa! (Second in my mind is Qiji, which doesn’t have the cocos)
Delicious laksa
Overall not bad
good but a little pricy
Awesome Amazing Accessibility Affordable Delicious
Taste is good. Need more prawns..
Still nice, just getting pricer over the years
Laksa flavourful, personally feel coconut milk is too thick.
Quick and easy for take away. Service is good but too bad is outdoor seating. Usually will just go for take away.
Not the original stall, but just as delicious. The laksa here tends to be slightly more expensive than elsewhere, but you definitely won’t be disappointed with the flavour. They are generous with the ingredients as well. Great bowl of laksa if you are around the area, though there are betters ones for cheaper if you search them out.
Nice laksa!
We usually eat at the East Coast shop but this time round, our delivered meal was from Thomson location.
The gravy looked thin (and separated) but packed a punch after adding the sambal. I did enjoyed my lunch and finished all the gravy although my young grandchildren found it too spicy .
Too bad there’s no cockles and we also did not order the otah which would be a great accompaniment.
Poor service, acceptable laksa
Good Laksa in Singapore
Amazing.
Comfort food
In all honesty it’s an okay laksa shop. It’s not fabulous and it’s definitely not like the original Katong laksa. Prices are a little steep compared to the other “local food” around the area, especially when wanton noodles next door is only $5. Just wished that the soup base was a little thicker, and the noodles less starchy. The noodles, ultimately, was a little overpowering compared to the entire bowl of experience.
I think this laksa was less spicy than one in Katong.
Milder and easier to eat
Quite rough customer service but laksa was delicious
Never fail to satisfy your laksa craving!
Service is good. Laksa was nice but would have preferred gravy to be thicker.
Not bad but not the best.
This bowl cost $5.5, overpriced n they did not put in any effort to present it nicely?
I find that my regular Hawker stall opp my house laksa (lorong ah soo market) selling at $3.50 beat this hands down in terms of taste n presentation.
Delicious and flavorful….
Sedap dan berasa bumbunya….
Delicious
