Entrance of Chinatown station, you can already feel the Chinese atmospheres, everywhere in red. If you’re tourist , better buy souvenirs from here, surely a lot of variety and cheaper than any other places. Also must try their authentic local and China cuisines in restaurants instead of hawker stalls. Wonderful to see many elderly people gathering together in the parks playing chess and xiangqi in spare times. A lot of restaurants in here offered very reasonable price for buffet hot- pot. Many of them got different level of spiciness, so be sure to inform them about your preference before they try to impress you by their level of spiciness.

Compared with ten years ago, this place has changed a lot, and now there are tourist restaurants and tourist souvenir shops everywhere! Most of the restaurants are run by mainland Chinese! So many choices! But of course there is a bar! The old taste of Xinjiapo Chinatown is slowly disappearing!

At night, it is crowded with people, so crowded but full of atmosphere! Come and see, it’s alright! It’s hard to relax in this expensive one! If you want to come here, just take the subway to Chinatown Station (DT19)!

Singapore’s Chinatown Chinatown is a very lively place filled with gift shops, restaurants, food stalls and more. This is a place suitable for watching flowers or killing time.

There are many types of gift shops in Chinatown, but many of them sell repetitive products and lack uniqueness. Also, prices in Chinatown are relatively high, so if you’re looking for cheap souvenirs or gifts, you may want to look elsewhere.

Despite this, Chinatown is still a very lively place, filled with all kinds of food stalls and restaurants. Here, you can taste a variety of delicacies, such as chilli crab, fried pineapple, etc., which are worth a try.

In conclusion, Chinatown Chinatown in Singapore is a place full of various gift shops, restaurants and food stalls, but many shops sell some repetitive products and the prices are relatively high. If you’re looking for cheap souvenirs or gifts, you may need to look elsewhere. Still, Chinatown is a place worth walking around and eating.

The last time I came to Singapore was almost 30 years ago. This time I went to Chinatown (Chinatown), and I feel that it is much better than before. There are many types of shops and restaurants, and the buildings are quite special! But I am not used to walking around the China Town Building for a short time. I hurried to the main street and bought some souvenirs from Feng Manji and Hu Zhenlong to complete this trip to China Town
Many shops are still closed during the day, and only a few tourists are visiting! I believe it will be more lively at night

There are many souvenir and handicraft shops in Chinatown in Chinatown, each with its own characteristics. If you are tired from shopping, you can go to the food street to taste snacks, which is very convenient. Especially the jerky and cakes are delicious, as well as Chinese handicrafts and antiques. The shophouses in Chinatown have different colors, which are very strange and beautiful. Walking slowly in this Chinese-style street is a kind of enjoyment.

It’s a very good place, selling all the goods we used in the old days and various kinds of goods that can be bought as gifts for relatives and friends far away. There are also many restaurants and seafood here, which tourists like to eat. It is brought to Singapore every year. The economy is prosperous. It is really a tourist paradise. I have been to many countries. Most of the local friends will know the Chinatown in Singapore. It is also a good place that most friends are most interested in.

this is where u enter the chinatown, or 牛车水 in mandarin. the mandarin name has a history story behind like how cows and waterwheels played a role in Singapore history and the chinese ancestors coming to Singapore and later settle down here. although Singapore is largely Chinese-ethnicity society, the Chinese atmosphere could be best experienced here, those red signs lamps lanterns and chinese ad boards, and vendors promoting their ‘chinese-style commodity and souvenirs’ in chinese. a very iconic place of interest especially in terms of Singapore’s unique identity

Every Spring Festival, the Chinatown New Year’s Market is a popular place for Chinese people to purchase new year’s goods. However, due to the epidemic situation, the Chinatown New Year’s Market will be closed for the first time. Although there is no New Year’s Market this year, there are still fixed stalls along the street. Merchants can rent the stalls to sell the items needed for the New Year. You can also go and buy.
It is hoped that when the Spring Festival comes next year, the epidemic will be brought under control and the hypermarket for Spring Festival goods will resume.
