Tai Seng mall is a extreme small mall with a handful of eateries and restaurants. However you may want to take note the mall offer free parking on Saturdays and Sundays. Hence restaurants here are rather crowded especially Din Tai Fung here. There is only one dress boutique here..Szan and its my favourite boutique. I always buy my working clothes and blouses from them. Prices are also quite reasonable. Once I visit them I found myself coming out of the boutique with something and never empty handed. Just brought 5 blouses from them and each cost less than $30. Please refer photos attached.
You may have your lunch or dinner here…there is a chicken rice…Chan Chicken rice…or tim sum at Tim Ho Wan or you can have you fried fish at Long John Silver. otherwise you may walk further down to Breadtalk building as there is a food court and BreadTalk there. At the food court you may want to try the well-known fish ball mee and another fish soup stall. Both stalls sell very good and tasty meals. Please also note that there is a big NTUC at the basement of Tai Seng mall. Enjoy your shopping here.

This is underappericated but Tai Seng has the best washrooms of any Mall I patronise. Despite having only two floors of shopping space, the washrooms and toilets are spacious, clean and house multiple cubicles, where other malls many times its size woukd only having one or two. Never a fear if there’s an emergency

A typical local food street catered for many local small medium enterprise office workers. There is not much of shopping experience I could get here except for food. I would like to compliment security guard Mani for his help and assistance to retrieve a diamond earring for me. His helpfulness, sympathetic and responsibile personality touches me.

The earring is very memorable for me and I thought I lost it for sure as it has dropped in between the gaps of the escalator.

We approach the security room and was assisted by Mani. He helped to follow-up and inform us when was the servicing of the escalator and personally search through a pile of dust and dirt to retrieve it.

Mapletree, you have indeed employed a very responsibile staff!
Well done and thank you so much for all the gesture that you have rendered, Mani!

There is a fair price supermarket. Not a full range, just basic one. dbs/posb ATM is inside the supermarket.

Primarily for the fried meesiam stall at B1,Melbourne flat white at Huggs and the NTUC there.
Fried meesiam is really nice, spicy aftertaste n goes well as it is,with chilli sauce at the side!
Melbourne flat white is the closest to I have tested, with a bIt of a bitter tongue aftertaste!

Wanted to dine at Tsuts but turned out they have vacated the premise. In place is a new ramen shop which offer this at very affordable prices. You can have a set of cha, side dish and salad by adding a little extra. For the price they charge, the food is decent but not up to par with Tsuta. I suspected that it is not Japanese owned and found out that the proprietor is actually a Thai. Good place for a decent lunch if someone is looking for some Japanese noodle.

Official name is 18 TAI SENG. Mini mall with near 40 brand names of eateries, shops and essential services. Cater more for the working class in this area. Good for family service during weekends. Health and safety contact tracing in place. Outdoor seating available at a few restaurants. ATM corner available inside FairPrice at the basement. Certain shops close as early as 8pm. Open space near Jackson Design Hub along Tai Seng Street is windy. Free car parking available till 31 March 2021 (Mon to Fri: 1700hr to 2359hr, Sat / Sun / PH: whole day.) Use Exit C of Tai Seng Station to get to this POI.

The dressing on my dish was horrible. Thought I had ordered mala flavour (dry), menu name was hot and sour MALA dressing and I was expecting mala flavour and not some spicy tomato vinegar flavour. Asked the waitress about the flavour and she said I ordered the wrong thing, normal mala flavour is called Chinese sesame dressing, she said i was supposed to read in Chinese as the hot and sour MALA flavour is 酸辣拌 in Chinese and Chinese sesame dressing is 麻辣拌. I then asked her what if I was Indian and I can’t read Chinese, what happens then, she said sorry for them and it can’t be remake as dish was already made. Why mislead people by putting the word ‘mala’ in hot and sour MALA flavour but then put 麻辣拌 for Chinese sesame dressing. The hot and sour MALA flavour was so dissapointing that I only ate 20% and the taste of vinegar was really really strong and i paid 20.95 for it. Hope the rest don’t make the same mistake I did

Free parking on weekday nights! Newly opened Ramen eatery, 2 Western (Harry’s & 18 Grill) all offering value meals on ground level, Japanese casual dining just outside at street level, Tim Ho Wan & Din Tai Fung all nearby, and a FairPrice at basement, just that it’s doesn’t have a large retail space, so don’t expect many options in terms of retail shops. And directly above Tai Seng MRT station too.

Parking here seems not too big but it has few slots at lunch hour. Only 2 level, it seems and it has office building on top. Waited few lifts to come down on lunch hour and ended up taking stairs down.
